After a slow beginning to his show career, due to an unfortunate accident, Drover gained his Aust Ch title on 10/3/2013 with a Best of Breed at Noorat under Peter Frost. Due to a few wrecked trolley covers which occurred when he was left alone in the trolley at shows, I decided that showing was not the best thing for Drover as he hated me being out of sight for too long! He has enjoyed himself as pack leader at Melodale since becoming the oldest male in the house. A recent trip to a Beagle Club of Victoria to participate in a Veterans Sweepstakes proved that he can still show, and he strutted his stuff with pride, and won Best Veteran 7 to 10 years in Show. He has also recently sired a lovely litter of pups, which I was very happy about as we had previously thought it was never going to happen. Love this boy, he gives his all whenever I ask anything of him!
