"2. Starshiraz Fire Cracker 4 year old red with white chest blaze. Pushed the boy ahead of him all the way. Another lovely head with a good strong muzzle, depth through the skull and a pronounced stop with good cheeks. Lovely round dark eye. Well placed half prick ears. Whilst acceptable these types of ears always give me the impression that the expression is a little bit off what I look for and this is the same today. Well muscled throughout, good length of neck, great bone. Well angulated at each end. Good ribbing and nice strong level back with good length of coupling. Correct pump handle tail. Moved well across and in, slightly close going away."

Mr Martin Grimwood, Stormstaff (UK) SBTCV Ch Show March 2016 - OPPOSITE LIMIT IN SHOW
"Two nice reds in the first two with little to choose between them. The lad in front had a tighter coat, was lighter in the loin and I thought today slightly better all round movement.
1st - Crumpton`s Starshiraz Fire Cracker Strong red lad with a white blaze and a darker mask carrying a very attractive typical head, correct stop, his good expression is enhanced by a dark eye and reasonably tidy ears. He has a good length of muzzle that also has depth with a strong underjaw. He was well up on pasterns on straight and strong forequarters showing good bone. Neck flows well into withers and topline with decent tail set. Well sprung ribs carried back, reasonably light in the loin, he has good musculature development on his hindquarters showing a good development of gaskin, fittest of the first three and moved very well, the best in the class."

Mrs Jude Frazer, Highbourne (AUS) SBTCV Ch Show March 2016 - OPPOSITE LIMIT IN SHOW
"1st - Starshiraz Fire Cracker
Red. Standard sized active agile. Head with enough depth and width, dark eye, strong muzzle with correct bite, small ears just a little flighty which spoils the expression, but that did not detract the virtues of the dog. Short in back put down in the best condition (top honours in this class) which got him over the line, coat smooth short and close in great condition. Moved OK....however when looking up at his handler on the move this dog tends to elevate his front. Pleased to award him Opposite Limit In Show."

Ms Shirley Gray, Bullmaple (UK) SBTCQ Ch Show August 2015
"An excellent class. Australian breeders must be very proud of their stock as this was some of the best I have seen.
2. D & K Crumpton's STARSHIRAZ FIRE CRACKER Rich red dog with some darkening around the muzzle, strong head and thin well placed ears. Short neck going into correctly angulated shoulders. Wide chest but not overly so. Good rib and sound topline. Very good movement."

Ms Dayna Lemke, Daydream (USA) NNSW SBTC Ch Show September 2015
"2. Starshiraz Fire Cracker - 3 yo, red. Best conditioned dog of the day, that and his colour made him stand out. Good head with clean lips and good bite, well defined stop, good ears. Clean straight front with correct shoulders and good feet. Tight coat. Rear good, tail carried well. Topline could be better. Moved well, nicely handled."

Mrs Janet Higgins, Acrestaf (UK) SBTCV Ch Show March 2015 BEST LIMIT IN SHOW
"1. Lovely conformation and angulation on this deep red and white dog, shown in fit condition. Strong head with good stop, deep skull, dark eyes and correct mouth/dentition. Short foreface, dark muzzle and 'Look at me!' expression! Good shoulders, plenty of rib, and no over exaggeration. Moved with purpose. Great pump handle tail, lovely to see."

Miss Erica Schelfhorst, Koendidda (AUS) SBTCV Ch Show March 2015
"2. Red dog with white chest. A very fit dog with correct head proportions. Strong, blunt muzzle, scissor bite, slightly flighty ears. Well off for bone and front legs are straight. Well ribbed back however I felt the top line sloped slightly off the croup. Pump handle tail, moved well."

Mrs Michelle Murphy, Brockmar (IRE) SBTC ACT Ch Show April 2015
"2. This dog's colour stood out, beautiful red with white markings, lovely head shape, lovely dark round eye which gives him a pleasing expression, good clean bite, nice depth and width of brisket, lovely tight feet well up on his pasterns, nice top line which he held at all times, sound backend, move and handled well, shown in lovely condition."

Mr Martin Murphy, Brockmar (IRE) SBTC ACT Ch Show April 2015
"3. Red dog with white markings. Good head shape with a lovely keen expression, nice clean bite, good straight front, nice tight well padded feet, nice spring of rib, level topline which he held stacked moved and handled well."

Mr Fred Jones, Foyleoak (IRE) SBTCQ Ch Show August 2014
"3. Red with white strong headed I just preferred the cleaner lines of my first two placings, but still a very good dog plenty of substance on a good front and a well balanced body."

Mr Paul Quinn, Bowferry (UK) SBTC ACT Ch Show April 2014
"3. Standard sized red with an excellent short coat, correct bite, eyes are dark set wide apart, deep brisket housed by a straight well boned front, moved well both ways, just spoilt by flighty ears."

Mr Laurie Ford, Blitstaff (UK) SBTCV Ch Show March 2014
"2nd - Crumptons STARSHIRAZ FIRE CRACKER is a top sized, more rangy type of dog, presenting a very smart picture. Would liked to have seen a bit more substance. Moved with purpose and ease."

Dr Sarah Hemstock, Jolihem (UK) SBTC ACT Ch Show April 2013
"2. Beautiful red baby, just coming up to 9mths. Plenty of bone and brisket for age. Good head and expression. He is going to be slow to mature, which is as it should be. Another very promising future prospect."

Huge thanks to Russell for our gorgeous boy.
