"Hunter" was placed 4th at the 10th National Golden Retriever Show in the Australian Bred class in May 2017 against a strong class of 16 dogs. He has been consistently placed in all championship and specialty shows entered and is a multi Class and In Group winner; a 4th best Gundog in Group placing under Malaysian judge Dr S R Dev before his first birthday. Hunter won the Dog Challenge at the Scottish Breeds Dog Club of Vic show in 2014 (18 months) and 2015 both under NZ judges Mr Keith Simmons and Mr N Trainor. The 20 point Challenge on 21 November, 2015 gave Hunter his Australian Champion title. This was the forerunner to an Intermediate in Group and then Runner Up in Group at Portland and District Kennel Club under judge Mr Ian Smith, NZ on 28 November, 2015.
Achievements: Puppy in Group, DCC, Best of Breed, 4th Best Gundog before the age of 1 year under Malaysian Judge, Dr S R Dev.
GRCV: Puppy and Junior of the year 2014;Top Dog of Year and Aust Bred of Breed 2016; Aust Bred of Breed 2017.
At the GRCV Championship Show as a Baby Puppy in October 2013, Norwegian judge. Mr Borge Espeland states:

Winning a Best of Breed under Golden Retriever Specialist, Ms Robyn Brown (NSW) in Victoria on 5 June, 2016, followed by Aust Bred in Group under Mrs Sandra Patterson (NSW) the same day was a great honour. Both are Internationally recognised Golden Retriever specialists and authors with considerable years of knowledge and experience of the breed. They regularly judge in the Americas, Europe and Asia.
Hunter's outstanding conformation and movement is matched by his easy going nature and true Golden Retriever disposition. Hunter was DNA tested by Animal Genetics, Florida in March 2015 and is clear for PRA1, PRA2, ichthyosis and muscular dystrophy. He has 1:1 hips and 0:0 elbows, clear heart and a current clear eye certificate.
