It wasn't until later in life that I decided to collect and store semen from Zion, and then did health testing late and subsequently allowed him to sire a litter for Glamourford kennels. I couldn't have been more pleased with his brilliant pennHIP results at over 6 yrs old and other health results at an age when sadly many Leonbergers are already sterile. Likewise his fertility at the time was great, though it did since deteriorate, and at 8 yrs old he has been sterilised. But his health and vitality coupled with some other key characteristics vindicated my decision to collect, and I very much look forward to see how his sons and daughters mature.
