He is the result of a successful frozen semen litter to the outstanding Dasty, aka Mulit Champion Ritizlyn Rick O Shay bred in the UK and residing in Spain with his owners Paloma and Antonio from Ria Vela. His mother Ruby, who is a full sister to BISS, 11 x speciality CC winner Ch Larbellah Team Leader (Hodge) and 9th National Runner Up Best In Show winner Ch Larbellah Take The Lead (Jimmy).
September 2014, the team travelled to Perth to attend the clubs Championship show. At the tender age of 14months, Turner wins Runner Up Best In Show behind his uncle Hodge ( CH Larbellah Team Leader) & Junior In Show under Judge Mrs Janet Barrow from the UK. His sister Tina wins the BCC.
At age 15mths Turner won Best Junior In Show at the 9th Golden Retriever National held in Victoria under Judge Mrs Nancy Talbot from the USA.
Still in the junior class, Turner won Best In Group and went on to win Runner Up Best In Show all breeds in Canberra under international all breeds judge Mrs Lianne Rowles.
March 2015, we travelled to Tasmania to attend the GRC championship show under judge Mrs M Bourne from SA. Competing against dogs almost double his age, Turner wins Best Intermediate in Show.
The following day, still in lovely Hobart, We attended an all breeds show where Turner won Best In Group and goes on to win BEST IN SHOW and gains enough points to be awarded his championship title. As you can imagine, we flew home on a high!
We have kicked off 2016 show season with our first show for the year competing at the Sydney Royal. Turner won a very competitive Intermediate class, and his half sister Lonnie was Best Female and RUBOB from an entry of close to 100 Goldens exhibited.
May 2016 GR club of NSW, Turner wins Intermediate male in Show under Ms Annette Alaxander from Victoria.
June 2016 sees us attend one of our favourite speciality shows in the calendar year that being Tasmania. On a very cold day Tassie day of 5degs Turner was awarded his 2nd Best In Show award under overseas judge Mrs Margaret Hean from Arangold Golden Retrievers NZ.
July 2016 we flew to QLD for a quick trip under breed specialist Mrs Lei Taft from Hawaii. Turner was Best Australian Bred male in Show. That makes it 3/3 class wins at the speciality shows this year.
Turner is a multiple BEST IN SPECIALITY SHOW winner & Best In Group & class in show winner, both in the all breeds and speciality rings.
Keep an eye out for his very talented sisters Ch Giltedge There's a Butterfly (Tina) and Ch Giltedge Madame Butterfly (Gracie-May).
