ARCHIE WINS THE CONTEST OF CHAMPIONS 5TH MARCH 2016 - A COMPETITION FOR THE STATES TOP 34 DOGS ALL BREEDS BEATING SOME OF THE TOP DOGS IN THE COUNTRY!!!!! So thrilled to be his owner/breeder/handler
Within the short space of 8 days Archie had won two All Breeds BEST IN SHOW awards!
Archie was initially shown sparingly and acquitted himself well by winning several Baby Puppy in Group awards - followed by 5 BABY PUPPY IN SHOW awards at the first 6 shows for the 2015 in Tasmania. He won BPIG at the other and went on to win MPIS on the day he turned 6 months of age!!! All this accompanied by his first Challenge points and Rup Best of Breed. Since then he has consistently won CCs and Best of Breed in strong competition; with many Puppy and Junior and Intermediate in Show awards as well.
He was consistently top Golden Retriever Rising Star (DOL)all year 2015 and finished top Gundog Rising Star Australia wide for 2015. Now aged 7 years he has had a fabulous show career.
Archie achieved his title at only 9 months of age! His final points completed quickly over 2 days under a full panel of International judges. He has won his first Best in Group and quickly added another 13 BIGs.
He has started 2016 with a bang by winning Best of Breed, many Junior and Intermediates in Group and Show and several more BEST IN GROUPS plus winner at the prestigious Contest of Champions followed by 2 Best in Shows.
So proud of this super young dog! What a future he has ahead of him.
