Harvey was located after a year of searching and studying lines of Australian Shih Tzu's and was chosen on pedigree first, and his placement confirmed after I saw his adorable pictures!
He is a mixture of ¾ old Australian/English import lines and ¼ old American breeding. His lineage includes the lovely English Champion Santosha Sunking five times in the first six generations, Australia's very successful Duxford lines, and the influential American Dragonfires, Louwan and Wingate's lines, amongst others.
An 'old type' Shih Tzu, Harvey boasts the most gorgeous big head, arrogant expression, lovely dark pigment, a beautiful front, perfect rear, great turn of stifle and the most wonderfully balanced and correct movement. This little darling is full of charm and just oozes personality plus!

In June 2012, Harvey further qualified for his Rally Novice (RN) obedience title - competing and qualifying in 3 trials with outstanding scores of 90, 87, and 95/100.
He further acquired 2 out of 3 of the passes required for his Rally Advanced (RA) title - the last one earned at 13 years of age - before his health made it impossible to achieve the final pass.
He carries his titles with pride - flying the Shih Tzu flag high amongst the working breeds!
We are very proud of Harvey’s one and only litter of four - three of whom have titled amongst strong competition.
