"Trooper" gained his final points for his Champion Title on 8/7/2012, being the 2nd in this litter to do so. "Trooper" was neutered after he gained in Champion Title.
Tracking - TD (Tracking Dog) Title in 19/7/2014: TDX (Tracking Dog Excellent) Title 5/5/2015: T CH (Tracking Champion) Title 12/7/2015. As he already had his conformation Title this then means he gains his Dual Ch (T) Title as well issued on 17/7/2015.
Third Collie in Australia to gain the Dual CH (T) Title, his sire was one of the other ones.
Track and Search - TSD (Track and Search Dog) Title 2/7/2016.
Obedience - CCD Title on 6/12/2015.
Rally - RN (Rally Novice) Title 24/4/2016
"Trooper" and Yvonne commenced training in Nose Scent detection work. This is as yet not an ANKC sanctioned Dog Sport but this may change soon. Dogs have to learn to detect certain odours then find them hidden in rooms or outside areas. These tests are known as ORT (Odour Recognition Test).
Trooper has passed his ORT for Birch as well as Anise on 12/11/2017. Then on the 14/7/2018 he also passed his ORT for Clove. First Collie Smooth in Australia to do this.
Australian Canine Scent Work run Nosework trials and on 26/5/2019 passed with a qualifying Certificate and obtained their NSW1 (Nose Scent Work 1 ) Title with this group. First Collie Smooth in Australia to achieve this also.
A lot of love and patience as well as time and training goes into all of the above. Both Yvonne and "Trooper" are loving their new found dog discipline of Nose-scent Work they can do together.
We wish to thank his owner Yvonne for all the love, time and training that she has put into this very special Tri Smooth Boy to gain these wonderful achievements.
It is with great sadness that Trooper passed away on 17/08/2020 with what was thought to be an aggressive brain Tumor after 4 seizures one after the other at home, 2 on route to vet and one later that night at vet. He passed away early Sunday morning on the 17th August 2020
"Trooper" was desexed by his owner once he achieved his Champion Title in conformation and continues to do dog sports as well as living in a loving family environment. He has not been Hip or Elbow scored or DM Tested since he is neutered.
Eyes Ophthalmology Clear as a puppy. Will be genetically (DNA) a carrier for CEA and MDR1 via parentage.
