The first and only ACD to earn the coveted designation of Super Dog, Bundi is extremely versatile and has a proven work ethic. In the USA he was worked on a variety of stock from goats to cattle. Here in Australia he is the main working dog on our farm and works chooks, pigs, sheep & cattle on a daily basis. A gentle guardian of calves, chicks, piglets, lambs kids & puppies, but has force when needed. He heads and heels, works yards and paddocks.
Agility is Bundi's most favourite sport, but he also enjoys DWD, nose work, lure coursing and performing his many tricks. He is medium blue with tan markings and stands about 50 cm and weighs in around 26 kg. He has good bone, excellent feet, a good head, full dentition with a correct scissors bite. He is fully health tested and his results can be viewed on the OFA/CHIC website. His CHIC No. is 77669.
Bundi has sired show, working and agility progeny, to date. He comes from a long line of successful sires. His sire is a multi-champion in Europe as well as a retired SAR and School Dog. His dam is a working dog on a small cattle property that uses steers for training roping horses, and who was also a talented tracking dog. Bundi traces back to some excellent working dogs and comes from a long line of genetically tested stock.
He is an extremely loyal companion and has accompanied me on most of my cross-country/intrastate trips. Truly a superb example of all that a cattle dog can be...versatile, intelligent, loyal, hardworking dependable, and talented!
RIP Bundi my Super Dog Extraordinaire (29 September 2007 - 13 December 2022) You live on in your progeny, grand progeny, and more. You left behind some great genes within our breed. Miss you Big Blue Dog.....
