In August at the National Reuben was Best Veteran Dog (7-10)

"What a star. 11½ years of age and still enjoying every minute of it. It was only after I finished judging that I realised where my Reserve CC winner got his attitude from. Whilst they are both what I would describe as traditional black type, in some ways I was surprised that they were father and son as for me the extra scope of Happy Days and rawness gives the impression of size and the maturity of Slick Willy somehow makes him look like he is out of a smaller mould.
