NBISS, BISS, RUBISS, RUBIS Grand Ch Woodwych Mustang Sally
On the 23rd of September 2008, Sally was awarded BEST EXHIBIT IN SHOW & graded 'EXCELLENT' at the 7th German Shorthaired Pointer National Championship Show in Victoria, under breed specialist Ms Raija Tammelin (Finland), from an entry of 142 GSP's. At the same show her son, Woodwych Tommy Hilfiger, was awarded Best Junior In Show. All three of Sally’s progeny exhibited at the 2008 National, were also graded 'EXCELLENT'.
Sally then went on to be awarded BEST EXHIBIT IN SHOW at the GSP Club of NSW's Championship Show, from an entry of 42 GSP's, under Gundog Specialist Mr Michael Looby (Victoria). She also competed in her second South Australian Battle of the Champions in 2010, following up her qualifying & making the Top 4 in 2005.
Proving that Sally was as successful out of the ring, as she was in the ring, she produced 11 show Champions, including a Supreme Champion, from her 3 litters. Her son, Sup Ch Woodwych Tommy Hilfiger went on to win Best Exhibit In Show at the 9th GSP National Champ Show held in South Australia, under breed specialist Dr V Sruk. Sally’s daughter, Ch Woodwych The Perfect Storm was awarded the Bitch Challenge & Best Opposite Sex In Show at the same show!
Unfortunately we lost Sally to a very short illness, and although we were all devastated by our loss, the future looks bright for us as Sally appears in the pedigrees of all of our current dogs. She will be forever missed by all of us here at Woodwych.
