Established in 1983, Woodwych is a small kennel located in metropolitan Adelaide, South Australia, with over 35 years involvement in the German Shorthaired Pointer breed.
Woodwych Kennels are breeders of multiple Specialty & All Breeds Best In Show & Runner Up Best In Show winners, Australian Champions, Grand & Supreme Champions, as well as retrieving and obedience trial winners. Woodwych dogs have been awarded Best Exhibit In Show at 3 of the 11 (2008, 2012, 2017) German Shorthaired Pointer National Specialties, and twice have been awarded both Challenges at the same National - this is a record for the breed in Australia. Woodwych was also the #1 GSP Breeder Nationally, in 2016 *DOLPS.
We are consistently breeding generation after generation of exceptional quality German Shorthaired Pointers for show, obedience, field & retrieving work, as well as wonderful family pets.
We do not wish to breed a large number of litters per year - as we believe in quality above quantity. It is our belief that the quality of a Kennel is in its bitches - all of our litters are carefully planned so that we can continue to produce our type consistently.
