Ch Argowan Charmeine
Charm gained her final points for her title at 10 months of age, after only 3 months of showing and with two Best in Group awards, a Runner Up to Best in Specialty Show (ACT Hound Show) and numerous in Group and in Show awards for Minor & Puppy.
Her expression, shape and soundness are just a few of the things we love about her, along with her very cheeky and fun loving temperament.
Below is the wonderful critique of Charm from breed specialist Mrs Wendye Slatyer, who awarded Charm Minor Puppy in Show at Campbelltown KC.
Argowan Charmeine
“A balanced combination of muscular power and strength with elegance and grace of outline”, and for me a series of symmetrical curves, no exaggeration, no overlong neck, no over done weak or sickle hocked rear, yet able to stand naturally over a lot of ground. A lovely size, feminine and elegant. Lovely head, long and lean, flat on top, tapering to muzzle with slight stop, rather wide between the eye, jaws powerful and clean cut. Correct bright expression, ears rose shaped small and fine in texture.
Very good fore and hind angulation, and promise of correct movement with a long easy stride whilst holding the topline, far too many flatten out these days.
Deep chest, well filled front, deep brisket, definite tuck up, and topline in the right place with the graceful arch OVER THE LOIN, not peaking sharply in the middle of the back with a short ribcage and then an incorrect sweeping rear as seen too often.
Charm is now on maternity leave, expecting her first litter in late March.
