My love for the Puli began in 1990 when I purchased Carrie, (Feketekutya Toffee) my beautiful black masked, silver (fako) girl. I was looking for a breed with intelligence, outgoing nature and willingness to learn for my work in the film industry and, I was instantly smitten with this delightful little dog. It was not until after her death that I discovered how difficult it was going to be to buy another Puli here in Australia that was not black in colour. After many years in fruitless search throughout Australia, I imported a female from Sweden. Since then, genetics have also been added from amongst the best breeders in Hungary and we breed the fako colour as well as black. My dogs are raised on a working farm in the Yarra Valley in a family environment with children and a variety of livestock. All breeding stock has current hip and eye certificates. Our dogs have been successfully shown and also compete in dog sports such as agility and flyball. Advice is freely given on all aspects of the care, grooming and training of Pulik. We have been involved with Pulis since 1992. Our breeding program has endeavoured to incorporate the world's best lines by selectively breeding from imported Champion lines from the US, Hungary and the UK to expand the available gene pool in Australia. Our aim is to breed healthy happy Pulis that maintain the unique appearance, breed type and personality that make this breed a treasured sheepdog and companion. We utilise current research when planning each litter, and our puppies are lovingly raised in a home environment. Our Pulis have been widely awarded by local, interstate and international judges as exceptional examples of the breed, with multiple having Royal Best In Show and Best in Show titles, making them some of the top winning Pulis in the country. We selectively breed multi-purpose Pulis excelling in conformation shows, obedience, herding, agility and family companions. All dogs included in our breeding program are hip x-rayed and eye tested.
