We breed black, blue, white and brown, Standard Poodles in North East Victoria. As poodle owners for over 30 years we wish to see the breed maintained by breeding healthy, strong dogs with good temperament.

Our dogs are DNA tested, health checked and hip scored with excelled results. They live with us in our home, are obedience trained and engage in work as Therapy Dogs, meeting people of all ages and environments. We have an accredited trainer on board to provide us with training knowledge and accreditation for our Therapy dogs.

As a practicing Psychologist, I understand the importance of the puppies early development, and focus on providing informed practice to give them the best start in life.

Our pups are raised in our home utilising the latest research with Early Neuro Stimulation (ENS) during critical stages of their development and will learn through Puppy Culture socialisation, enrichment with exposure to people, pets and varying environments and situations. We pay attention to good diet to develop healthy gut microbiome, important for good immune health and we toilet train.

Our puppies will be placed in excellent loving homes and be part of their new family life.
Support will be provided for the life of the pup.

We are not expecting or planning any litters in the near future.

We are a small registered breeder of Standard Poodles and live just outside Exeter in Northern Tasmania. Our focus is primarily on health, temperament and genetic diversity and while you may occasionally find us at a dog show we are more likely to be at home with our dogs and other animals. Our dogs live in our house and are beloved members of our family.

We breed predominantly black, blue, apricot and cream but are hoping to add silver to the mix as well. Our dogs are all DNA tested (through Embark) and all pups will come with their own complete Embark DNA report. We also do genetic diversity testing through Betterbred and UCDavis on all our dogs that we may potentially use for breeding.

We will only have one or two litters a year. Our pups are raised in our home and are socialised with our family and friends, with our other dogs, with our cat and to lots of different noises and experiences. They will be groomed regularly to become familiar with the grooming regime before they leave for their new homes.

We currently have a litter of white standard poodles. Born 23/7/23 Available on 19/9/23 after we pick our show puppy out.. Puppies are use to school age children. They come from parents who have beautiful temperaments. Their sire is imported from the USA he has shown in the USA and Australia AND his a USA GRAND CHAMPION & Australia champion, as well as a great house dog! The mother had also shown and is an Australian Champion. Both parents have had Full dna Orivet health testing & hips and elbows testing done for excellent scores. All puppies are microchipped, vet checked and vaccinated and are ready to go to their new homes 19/9/23. They have also started toilet training.. Our poodles live in our home and walk daily with our children to school, where they regularly socialise with children and dogs. Our foundation poodle, Artemis, is an Australian champion. We aim to breed engaging, calm beautiful standard poodles that will perform well in the ring, as companion animals or be lovely family pets.

I entered the world of pedigree poodle breeding after acquiring a brain injury, which meant I had to leave my position as an Associate Professor at an Australian University. My poodle took on the job of assistance dog as I learned to walk again and he aided in my rehabilitation. I am using my experience as a scientist in breeding and raising poodles.

We are small breeder of White Standard Poodles and now black with our black male.
Located in the Hunter Valley NSW. I have owned poodles for over 25 years firstly toys now standards.
Our poodles are fully DNA tested and clear. Hip and Elbow Scoring has also been done.
Our poodles and puppies are brought up in a home environment living inside with us as they are part of our family. They love visit from our granddaughter actually love visits from anyone.

Our puppies when available are also brought up in a home environment with exposure to all household noises vacuum cleaner etc and grandchildren. Once old enough during the day puppies are taken outside multiple times to play in the puppy play gym. During puppy quiet time I like to play puppy relaxation music.
Before going to their new homes they are socialised, lead and toilet training has started. Worming, microchipping, vaccinations and puppies registrations are all done. New owners are given a puppy pack with all information needed and ongoing support.

Breeding only the very occasional litter to improve type, quality, health and temperament.

All breeding dogs are DNA tested clear for hereditary disease as well as being hip/elbow scored.

I show in the conformation ring and participate in obedience classes where possible. I also groom pets as a hobby so our dogs are exposed to lots of other people, children and different breeds of dogs.

Raised on 20 acres of hobby farm our puppies are used to horses, geese, sheep, tractors, machinery and general "farm life".

Showing excellent temperaments, being athletic and well socialised, our puppies are raised as a part of our family and are fed a high quality, age appropriate diet.

The last litter is showing great trainability with pups moving through the ranks at obedience and beginning to excel in the show ring. Fabulous comments from judges on quality and structure of the young dogs I have in the conformation ring. Also making great, polite members of their new families showing their truly versatile nature.

With several years of trialling and exhibiting experience, I am focusing on breeding balanced Standard Poodles who are sound, confident and fun to live with. I am passionate about the breed and its original function as a water retriever. This includes breeding to the set standard of the breed.

I frequently campaign dogs in the ring and all Valravn Standard Poodles are titled prior to breeding. I also compete in a range of sports including Rally, Agility, Tracking and our favourite - Field Retrieval. We love showing the world that a Poodle will try anything asked of them!

My foundation bitch was an incredible introduction into the breed. She has an amazing temperament and sassy disposition. Astrid is currently the only Standard Poodle being shown and trialled in a corded continental clip, which definitely makes her stand out!

Valravn breeding dogs are health tested and cleared of all genetic health conditions that can be detected via DNA testing and have acceptable hip and elbows scores. These results are available on request.

Puppies are lovingly raised in the home with Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Puppy Culture Programs as well as basic training and grooming desensitisation. This sets your puppy up to be an excellent family pet or sport, working or show dog. We focus on friendly personalities and correct structure for healthy Standard Poodles.

Welcome to Malerisch Standard Poodles!
We are a small breeder located in the Lockyer Valley in sunny Queensland. To me the standard poodle is one of the most versatile breeds. Being bred to their history allows them to be wonderful working dogs while fitting perfectly into thw modern family home as loving family members.
All my poodles are raised in my family home with kids, other animals and a busy life at my grooming salon. There for the temperament of my dogs are number one! We also complete all health testing, and champion our dogs in the conformation and sporting rings before choosing to breed.

My goal is to breed easy tempermented poodles for the family home that are also healthy and sound in conformation. They must be able to be fine living on a couch or comfy bed and be able to get up and fly around an agility track or go on a hike that weekend.

Katsto Standard Poodles located Gippsland, Vic. I only bred and raised my first litter in 2022. But to despite this I have been around dogs, breeding and showing my whole life. I got my first standard poodle when I was 16, that is a long time ago!
I am very fortunate that I have had some of the best mentors in the bred during my life and are very grateful to have these people as mentors and friends. Alot of these people over the years have entrusted me with their dogs and dogs of their breeding programs, which has allowed me to be where I am now with my dogs and breeding.
My dogs first and foremost are members of my family and are dogs first and show dogs second. They love spending time within my home, in the backyard, paddock or individual runs when required. We get great enjoyment from attending dog shows and getting out and about in the public with our dogs to promote the bred.
Health and fit for purpose are my focus with my dogs, and I strongly believe if you get these correct to the best of your ability you achieve what everyone is looking for a good family member, a good show or dog sports dog, a good support dog. My love is of Silver Standard Poodles and I dream to one day have one that is a great show dog and will continue to strive to this, but also are aware Colour can not be the only focus it is just a bonus if you achieve what you desire.
We are currently taking Espressions of Interest for our next litter, which we are hoping for Black, Blue and White puppies
