Shokuma Akitas have been South Australia's top Akita Kennel for many years. In over 24 years we have bred and/or owned 35 Champions, 4 Grand Champions & 2 Supreme Champions, an achievement unrivalled by any past or present SA breeder. All of our Titles have been achieved at contested shows.

Our dogs are bred from imported bloodlines, mainly from the UK and in particular, from the world famous Ruthdales Akita Kennels.

Breeders of Specialty Best in Show, Multi Best in Show & Multi RU Best in Show winning Akitas, Countless in group/show awards.
