AmstarFX is a boutique kennel that is purely dedicated to breeding top quality Amstaffs to the AKC breed standard. We have been involved in showing and breeding Amstaffs for 20+ years. We pride ourselves on the quality we produce. When breeding, we look at every aspect – Breed standard, type, temperament, soundness, health, pedigrees and pedigree combinations.
We are not backyard breeders, we do not do this for the money, we are lucky to have 1 litter every 1-2 years and we do not support people out there who are breeding away from the breed standard to supply the pet market.

Iroq kennels was established in 2002, we are a small kennel located in the Southern suburbs of Perth, WA.
Our inaugural dog "Nitro" was purchased from Chris & Trevor of Tothemax kennels in 2001, five months later they gave us "Meika" our first bitch. Meika became our 1st "AUST CH" & Mother to the 1st of our Iroq born champions.
From morning to evening all our Amstaff family spend their day either in the home or in large open areas where they can run & play.
At Iroq kennels all Amstaffs are health tested prior to entering our breeding program. Any males used from other kennels are selected from breeders with similar views to health testing.

Over a number of years we have found that feeding our dogs as naturally, and free from additives and preservatives as possible has reaped the benefit of happy, healthy dogs and as such all our dogs from 3 weeks of age are fed on a diet of "Vets All Natural", and a mixture of raw meats, supplemented with raw bones, fish, eggs and the occasional natural treat.

We are continually working on our breeding line, to produce dogs that are not only true to type with excellent temperament we have come to expect, but sound in bodies and structure for a long loving life in the family home.

I am a small kennel based in the Southern Suburbs of Sydney.
I have been actively involved in the American Staffordshire Terrier breed since purchasing my first Amstaff in 2011.
I am very passionate about the breed and have travelled overseas to the USA and Europe to learn more about the breed. My dogs are very much part of our family so breeding for temperament, soundness and health is paramount. I only breed occasionally when I feel a new member of my show team is beneficial.

I believe health testing is very important and my dogs are tested for Cerebella Ataxia, Hip & Elbow scored, Cardiac Certified and DNA profiled. Copies of all health testing are available on request.

My dogs have won multiple BISS, RUBISS, RUBIS, BIG and many classes in show and groups. Tiffany was the first Amstaff in Australia to gain her FCI CIB Title and her CAC A2O Title.

While the dogs enjoy and are very successful in the show ring they also enjoy and excel at dog sports with titles in Weightpull, Endurance, Lure Coursing and Back Packing.

They are intelligent and eager to please, which makes them highly trainable, though that intelligence means they need mental stimulation, The American Staffordshire Terriers can also use their strength to pull dog walkers along with ease wherever they want to go if they aren’t trained properly. This means they need a strong, confident trainer who will set boundaries without being overly harsh.

Beanie will retire shortly, making way for the next generation to enter the ring.
