They are great with children, having been socialised from an early age. One of the best breeds for kids.
All dogs have also been visually socialised with chooks, cats, cattle, sheep and goats.

In creating my own Kennel and credible reputation I have always sourced the best pedigreed dogs to use in my breeding program, with many a champion in their lineage.

Farfromova Kennels are situated in West Gippsland, an hour's drive from the centre of Melbourne.
Our passion for the breed was born after countless hours of research into a breed that suited our lifestyle and had all of the characteristics we were looking for. Our dream for Farfromova Kennels then began when we bought home our first American Staffordshire Terrier.

The American Staffordshire Terrier is a muscular breed that is known for being strong for its size, yet loving and affectionate with their human family. American Staffordshire Terriers enjoy nothing more than being with the humans they care about, whether they’re out for a jog, playing in the yard, or cuddling up on the couch.
They are intelligent and eager to please, which makes them highly trainable, though that intelligence means they need mental stimulation, The American Staffordshire Terriers can also use their strength to pull dog walkers along with ease wherever they want to go if they aren’t trained properly. This means they need a strong, confident trainer who will set boundaries without being overly harsh.
Socialization is also important to help the breed overcome its natural standoffish tendencies when it comes to other animals.

Perkasa American Staffordshire Terriers is a small breeder located in the western suburbs of Melbourne. Our prefix 'Perkasa' translated means; doughty, strong and powerful - exactly how the amstaff should be.

We strive for the betterment of the breed in good health, meticulous type and correct temperament. As we take betterment of this great breed seriously, our dogs are completely health tested for hip & elbows, ataxia, cardiac ultrasound performed by a cardiac specialist, eye certified by ophthamology specialist, all tests accompanied by excellent results.
We breed dogs of moderate type who will excel not only in the conformation show ring but also in all aspects of dog sports and most of all, happily cement their place in their families life, to fortify the safeguard of our beloved versatile breed.
True to standard our amstaffs are fun loving, their temperaments are rock solid and we will make no exception for any specimen that does not display this desirability. It is the true amstaff temperament that make owning an American Staffordshire Terrier an absolute priviledge.

We only breed when we necessitate a new addition for our triumphant show team. Our dogs are for companion homes only and are not to be bred from. We however, occasionally may consider co-owned show homes.

We are expecting our very first ever due on the 30th of November. This litter has been line bred on the prolific Ch.Rockstone of Rockstone AST in Hungary. World class kennel in it's own right! If this litter turns out how I am expecting it to, the pups will be amazing as they have a fantastic foundation behind them. Truly a great start for the very beginnings of my breeding program.

A little about Staffmazing Amstaffs;

We are a small kennel located in regional Victoria and have been involved with the breed for 8 years. After learning about the American Staffordshire Terrier, my love for them grew immensely and decided to embark on a journey to become a breeder who would take great pride in what they do. The key things I am focusing on in my opinion are the three most paramount things in the Amstaff, Temperament, Health and a dog that meets the Amstaff standard! (We are not a kennel that breeds for colour or size). To me, if an Amstaff is strong in these areas, then they are true to the standard and you will get amazing examples of this breed through your dogs. It should be known that the Amstaff is a very loyal and proud breed and also is an excellent family guardian (even more so with kids).
