We are a small family orientated kennel of Australian shepherds aiming to breed for versatility, health, temperament and correct structure. Our dogs are family first and live a life filled with dog sports and snoozing on our couch.

Our puppies are raised in a loving home environment with other dogs and cats and are raised with puppy culture protocols. We expose our puppies to the normal hustle of a regular household. We discovered this breed when we bought and fell in love with our first Aussie almost 10 years ago. Ever since then we wanted to explore and find out more about the breed. What stands out for us the most is that every Aussie is unique. They are loyal and affectionate dogs to the people they are most bonded with. They do best with plenty of human companionship: they are often called "Velcro dogs" for their strong desire to always be near their owners and for their tendency to form intense, devoted bonds with select people. Aussies have very keen minds and sharp observation skills, always looking for patterns and reading your every mood. With good training they can become a highly skilled dog. We aim to produce dogs of a high standard for families who are looking for their next best friend. They will also be suited to herding and agility. Our dogs are part of our family and are always by our side. Our puppies will be well socialised and around children and adults of all ages. All of our puppies will be health tested and will be on the limited registry with papers. Warning! Once you own an Aussie you will be hooked!

Cedarspring Australian Shepherds, located west of Melbourne Victoria, focuses on producing functional aussies with a sound temperament to match.

I was first bitten by the 'aussie shepherd' bug in 2007, and have since been involved in dog sports such as flyball, rally-obedience, tracking, agility, tricks and lure coursing with my aussies.

Cedarspring aims to produce versatile dogs that can perform well in sporting and performance trials, as well as claim their rightful place as part of a loving family.

All breeding stock is DNA tested, hip and elbow scores completed and eye tests performed annually. Puppies are raised with Puppy Culture protocols, eye tests completed, Volhard temperament testing, microchipped, vaccinated, registered with Dogs Australia and DNA testing for MDR1 completed before going to their new homes.

Please note we have no plans for any future litters at this stage.

Waikikamukau was established in 2002 with the purchase of Scandal a blue Merle dog

Since then we have gone on to produce some tilted show dogs gaining championship and grand champions.

I am an Agility Judge and experienced competitor in Agility and Obedience disciplines. Having worked and trained a number of breeds including border collies, my chosen breed to work, train and compete successfully with is working lines Australian Shepherds. In 2019 I was lucky enough to purchase my very impressive bitch Blitz (Blazintails Silversands Canyon (AI) JDX JDO GD) from Lydia Whiteway of Blazintails Australian Shepherds. Blitz is one of The Forged In Silver litter born in late 2019 from carefully selected imported semen seeking to introduce sound, healthy new genetics into our working lines Australian Shepherds in Australia. With Lydia as my mentor, our objective as breeders is to breed with the best matched genetics we can find and to breed sound, healthy, super-fast, athletic, trainable and successful working and performance dogs with great temperaments who are a joy to train, work and live with. We will continue to introduce more lines into Australia in our breeding program. Blitz is the full package. Lydia has chosen an amazing sire for her from a Hall of Fame Kennel and semen was imported from the dog Windmill's The Legend Rolls On.

Jadziah Australian Shepherds is the home of my first Aussie and Aust Champion Marashar Dancing Waters ADM JDM SD HT who came to us in 2001. Splash is a true combination of beauty and brains. Azra also has 2 gorgeous kids from Bobby (Am/NZ/Aust Ch Alnairs The Guardian) - Jadziah Here Comes the Sun 'Sunny' and Jadziah Walking on Sunshine 'Achilles' who will be shown sparingly.

We generally only show in the conformation ring long enough to title our dogs, then it's into the fun stuff of agility competitions.

We are a small scale breeder located in south East Queensland.
Having veterinary nurse background our goal is to breed versatile, healthy dogs with wonderful temperaments.
