FLOCKSTAR
We are a new, boutique kennel that came about after I was very fortunate to welcome our
first Bergamasco puppy, Phoebe, into our home in 2015 and our sweet boy Ferdy in 2017.
Bergamascos are certainly a rare breed, both in Australia and worldwide but it's their unique, flocked coat that turns heads, gains attention and makes this breed so spectacular. There is nothing like a Bergamasco running in full flocked coat.
Not only is their coat gloriously soft and fluffy as puppies, but it also remains soft and cuddly once the flocks set in.
Their wonderful, "dread-locked" coat is a hyper-allergenic hair and wool combination
(similar to a poodle) and would suit those that are sensitive to animal fur or
don't want to be picking dog fur off their clothes and furniture.
Raised in our busy, child and baby filled home, our Bergamascos have wonderful temperaments while still retaining their working dog spirit. Smart, intuitive and patient, our Bergamascos are a wonderful part of our family.
Phoebe is an titled Australian Champion.
