My breeding aims are to assist families to find companion Border Collies who are 'clever, calm & cuddly'. Consequently my emphasis is on temperament and health, and focusing on improving Border Collies as excellent family companions, as well as their other skills in dog sports such as fly ball, noseworks, agility, obedience.
My dogs have had the full range of Health Tests available for Border Collies – including a Full DNA Profile, and been tested against known Border Collie inheritable diseases (CL – Ceroid Lipofuscinosis, TNS – Trapped Neutrophil Syndrome and CEA Collie Eye Anomaly) plus Hip and Elbow X-Rays to help prevent Hip Dysplasia and Elbow problems.
My dogs are exercised off property in a range of environments, mixing with people, kids and other dogs. We enjoy participating in Scentwork, Rally and general Obedience.
My dogs live with me in the house 24/7 (with cats).
We usually only have a small number of puppies each year and we always have a waiting list.
My dogs whelp indoors – not in separate quarters away from the house. Visitors and inspections are always welcomed.

My love for border collies began when I purchased Bonnie 15 years ago. She was the most gentle and loyal dog who was right by my side for her 14 years on earth. Knowing that Bonnie wouldn't be around forever and my developing passion for the breed, I founded Bonikins Border Collies. The name Bonikins was my way of honouring Bonnie - all future dogs will be her family.
As a breeder I endeavour to produce pups with excellent conformation and sound temperament. I follow the ENS training shortly after birth and strive to give my puppies as many experiences as I can during their first 8 weeks with me. They are loved and treated as part of the family by friends and family. A positive start to life is essential for preparing puppies for their forever homes.
All of my breeding dogs are DNA tested and hip and elbow scored with great results. Puppies are sold on the Limited Register unless prior arrangements have been made for Mains. Each puppy is DNA tested for proof of parentage, microchipped, wormed and will have had their first vaccination.

I have a love to breed Border Collies as my father many years ago use to breed them, this is where the love of the Border Collie came from. I was lucky enough to use his Prefix Senulc (Clunes reversed. This is my maiden name).

Our 5 dogs are our pets and are loved and are treated like family.

At AvocaReds we concentrate on breeding border collies with beautiful temperaments, adhering to the breed standards. We are a small breeder who raise our dogs in a rural environment, on our sheep farm.
Our girl, Ozziedust The Beauty Aphrodite (Dite) and our boy Ozziedust Paris Archer Prince (Archer) have delivered a litter on 2 October 2023. They had 7 puppies, 5 girls aand 2 boys. All pups are red and white and clear of heritable diseases as both parents have tested clear. All DNA tests are available for your inspection along with the pedigrees of both parents.
Puppies will be available from 8 weeks of age, and will be regularly wormed. At six weeks they will be vet checked, vaccinated and microchipped. They will be placed on Limited Register, however, we are open to register on Main if there are sound reasons for this request.
Previous owners have successfully flown their pups to their new homes.
We have 3 red and white girls available.

Woombye Border Collie pups are wormed every two weeks and will be vaccinated, microchipped and vet checked for health before leaving for their new homes. The parents have tested free of the border collie diseases and have low hip and elbow scores.

We are situated at Ninderry on the Sunshine Coast.

Our love affair with Border Collies began with Tia, a beautiful Red & White girl that we adopted from our local refuge. That was nearly 25 years ago, when Tia passed away we decided we wanted another Border Collie just like her. We were so fortunate to meet up with the lovely ladies from Bojak Border Collies, where we found Millie. Since then we have increased our Border Collie pack to 5 and have bred Border Collies for the past 16 years.

Our puppies are bred for temperament and soundness to improve the breed and for loving pets that will give their owners as much love and enjoyment as we have had from our dogs.

We are on a small acreage and all our puppies are raised in our home with our other dogs and cats. All the dogs we breed with are fully DNA profiled and tested clear of CEA, CL & TNS, so all our puppies are clear of those conditions by parentage. Our puppies are all registered with Dogs Queensland and are sold on a limited register.
