Miniature smooth Dachshunds A small Kennel established since 1997 breeder and exhibitor of pure bred dogs and a member of ANKC Dogs NSW since 1978 endeavouring to breed for sound dogs of quality type and temperament tested for PRA and SDMD.

We are situated on the far north coast of NSW near Ballina, and we have been breeding top quality miniature smooth dachshunds for almost 40 years. Our dogs are well known for their good temperament and breed type, we concentrate on good health and our dogs are tested clear for known genetic faults.
Several of our dogs have won best of breeds at Specialty and Royal Shows, plus Best in Show and Reserve to Best in show at Specialty and All Breed shows..
We breed sparingly generally 1 or 2 litters annually.

ey"Splendak" - we are proud to have the name "Splendak" as our prefix, as we have a small family of little miniature smooth and miniature long dachshunds who have been bred from well-renowned Champion bloodlines with sound temperaments and excellence in conformation. The Foundation lines of Splendak are based on lines with solid temperaments. Our little family of girls are all PRA Cord 1 Clear by Parentage. We do not kennel our dachshunds, and they live as part of the family in our home. We live in a rural area, where they have room to run and enjoy daily freedom, fossick in the gardens, look for treasures, and to chase the butterflies, whilst we know that they are safe and at all times, protected . Annaric Dachshunds - Standard Smooth & Miniature Smooth of WA - Where the dog "SPEAKS" for itself. We have had mini smooth Dachshunds for the past 23 years but only started breeding them in 2000. We breed top quality dogs with exceptional temperaments, all DNA Tested for Cord 1 PRA & SDMD. Our oldest living dogs have lived till 17 & 15 years especially the two girls from our very first litter of 3 puppies. We pride ourselves on our puppies and adult dogs wonderful outgoing temperaments. I believe because I allowed new puppy buyers to come and see their babies right from 2 weeks of age. They are cuddled and touched and I believe is why they are so accepting of any humans and other dogs that cross their paths. I never advertise as my pups are sold before they are even born. breeders. Mainly having breed in Muchea, but had our very first litter whilst running boarding kennels and owning 10 Rottweilers living in Coolgardie where I acquired our very first little Dachie who we called Spicegirl. What a little a .
We moved to our retirement home in Geraldton 4 years ago . We absolutely love living here, walking along the beach and the foreshore with the dogs.
We breed and show mini smooth Dachshunds. Our dogs are house reared and bred to produce puppies with good temperament as well as correct conformation.

We are very grateful to Darryl and Joan Cross of Dakley Dachshunds in Queensland for sending us "Maggie", our first mini smooth. I know it was a difficult decision for them trying to sort the 4 sisters out as they were all so even. We cannot thank them enough for our little packet of dynamite, who has won a Best of Breed at the Royal Adelaide Show and several classes in group awards before retiring to the recliner chair and watching DVD's. She presented us with a lovely litter to Supreme Ch. Stardayne Royal Command (Elvis) of which we kept "Tullacrest Walking in Memphis" (Teddy), who through injury cant be shown, but has certainly produced some lovely babies for us and for Stardayne Kennels to carry on with.

We show our dogs, when time permits, being successful with challenges. I am always looking to improve using titled outside stud dogs to compliment my home lines. Our aim is a correct true to type dachshund.
We adore the Dachshund breed and strive to produce happy, healthy dogs, within the breed standard. We enjoy showing our dogs and also include them in everyday activities.

Our miniature smooth dachshunds are raised in the home environment as part of the family. Each and every one of them are very special to us. Although, we only commenced showing and breeding this beautiful breed 12 years ago, it has been a part of our life for many years prior. We only breed occasionally and have produced 7 Australian Champions. We breed for both good conformation & temperament & believe that these have to go hand-in-hand to produce sound and well-adjusted puppies. While our dogs go into the show ring, first and foremost they are our pets. The old saying that "you take the best dog home" is so true.

Hi there! AASHUDNA is the name behind miniature dachshunds owned by Heather and Mark, located in SCONE, in the Upper Hunter, formally from Penrith we still come to Sydney regularly for work. Through ethical breeding and careful planning of future litters, we aim to preserve the true miniature dachshund with sound health, temperament, structure and movement.
We pride ourselves on our vigorous health testing including IVD x-ray screening on our breeding aged Dams, full DNA panels including PRA Cord 1, SDMD. Vet clearance certificates for patellas, eyes, cardiac and thyroid.
Our motivation is to create miniature dachshunds who fulfil their purpose of bringing joy and companionship to their humans, as well as being good examples of their breed by having the attributes a dachshund should have.

We show and do obedience with our dogs.all our dogs and puppies are positive trained and are on a raw food diet.the puppies are positive trained from an early age by the time they go to their new home at twelve weeks of age they can sit drop touch and recall. We do resource guarding they would have been in the car several times and socialised with people and other dogs.they are toilet trained to a tray with kitty litter in it and as they get older they use a doggy door to go out side to the toilet.
