Got our first standard smooth dachshund in 1967 from Yo & Doug Batchelor of the well renowned ROMALO KENNELS in South Australia. Showed Standard Smooths and Standard Longhaireds for about 15 years before moving heavily in Border Collies.

Many moons later, we were lucky enough to acquire a most gorgeous chocolate and tan bitch from Peter Mantzaris and Peter Hitchener of Mantza Kennels in Victoria, Aust. Ch. Mantza Look At Me, "Chocolate" and we are now "hooked" again on this delightful breed. We sincerely thank them both, for giving "Tullacrest" this wonderful opportunity to begin again, with such a superbly bred and conformed bitch. Our lives have been blessed by having had her in our family.

We would like to thank Brian Townsend (Tiermark Kennels - NZ), Sarah Key (Keystone Kennels - NZ) Joyce Taylor and Kevin Morgan (Eukypark -Tasmania) for allowing us to use their gorgeous boys, which has really helped us in establishing our Standard Smooth lines.

Along with exhibiting dogs, Lynn is also a licensed All Breeds Judge.

I have been involved with Dachshunds since 1980. My current Standard Smooths have x-Ray certification - to improve the health of Dachshunds with IVDD (back issues). Health, happiness and sound temperament is of the utmost importance to me when breeding whilst always striving to improve the quality of my dogs. I only breed from x-rayed parents and puppies are house reared

We are a small family hobby kennel in South Australia. Our family has loved shown and bred dachshunds over four generations.

We purchased our first Mini Longhair in 1970 Over time we extended our love to Mini Smooths and then Standard Smooths
Recently we welcomed into our home our stunning Standard female -Malaysian import Aust Ch Hacienda OMG

We occasionally have Standard and Miini puppies available to suitable homes
Our litters are carefully planned from health tested parents.. Puppies are raised in our home with careful consideration given to puppy placement.
