I have been breeding since 1993 with the intension of improving the standard of the Labrador
Currently I have 4 yellow, 4 Chocolate, females, which have very low hip and elbow scores.

Miandor Labrador Retrievers is a small family orientated kennel where our Labs' are as much family as they are 'show dogs'. Marsagan Labradors is a family business that started off in Scotland but has now arrived in Queensland. We believe in treating our dogs as part of the family so they are free to romp around the 1 acre grounds at our house or chill inside and wait for dinner to be served!
We place very high value on the quality of our breeding lines and the genetic makeup of our dogs.
Bred from champion pedigrees. All of our dogs hold current clear eye certificates and are clear for PRA, EIC and CNM. In addition they all have excellent hip and elbow scores.
While some of our puppies have gone on to be professional gundogs, most of them go as family pets.
They are born in the household and kept indoors until they are about 4 weeks old. We give them up when they are weaned at 8 weeks of age, by which time they have been microchipped, primo-vaccinated and dewormed. As well as the above each pup comes with their personal dossier which includes diet sheet, care and training pack, exercise and socialisation pack, 6 weeks Petcover insurance, record of worming regime, sales contract, registration with Dogs Queensland, supply of food and a scent blanket.

we are small breeders whose dogs have been brought up in a family environment on a rural property just north of Brisbane. We were introduced to the Labrador Breed via the sport of Tracking . My older Labrador, puppies grandmother, has titles in 5 different dog sports including tracking, track and search, retrieving ability test, rally o and scent work she is very clever.
Our aim is to breed quality, structurally sound Labrador Retrievers, which would have the ability to do well in dog sports activities as well as be great companions. These dogs would be comfortable in any situation a calm family pet or an assistance dog or using their great noses and brains. We are breeding a puppy for us.
When we breed we are breeding with purpose to produce the best Labrador we can . We use all tools available to try to produce the best puppy we can. For this mating we used frozen semen from NZ to use a dog who is outstanding both in his sport of retrieving but has excellent hip and elbow scores and his DNA screening is without any problems.
Brave also has a wonderful temperament and is easy to live with and train.
Our puppies are raised in our home and are exposed to as many different situations as is possible before they go to their new families. They are not left alone in a kennel. I do the puppy culture program to ensure that the puppies have the best start in life .

We have a new litter of yellow puppies ready from 29th July 2022. We breed family orientated dogs with outstanding temperaments. Our girl Olive is the biggest sook but with a mischievous side. She is an absolute delight.
Olive and Rory (stud) had their hips and elbows scored with low results and full DNA profile. Both are in excellent health.
All puppies will be up to date with their worming, vaccinations and be DNA tested and microchipped. They will come with limited pedigree papers unless otherwise discussed. They will also come with a BlackHawk puppy pack and BlackHawk biscuits.
Next litter Due will be around 24th May 2024
First litter - excepting Chocolate and Black puppies.
Will know for sure on the 26th April 2024when the ultrasound is done.

We are an established kennel and have been breeding Labradors for the past thirteen years, like many before us we fell in love with the versatility, intelligence and beauty of the breed. Our founder dog Winnie (2005-2019) and one of her puppies Rumba (2008-2020) lived a full and happy life retiring on the farm as do all our girls who are no longer breeding. We currently have four girls “Zoe” (retired), "Evey" (retired), "Boo" (black) and "Charlie" (yellow) - our girls have brought so much joy and happiness to our family. All our girls have been raised on our cattle and horse property, they shown outstanding versatility in their function as a family pet and farm dog. All our dogs are unique and have their own special personalities. As a breed the Labrador has a very playful and gentle nature and shown great natural ability and intelligence. It is for this reason we venture into the breeding of Labradors.

The puppies are born and raised in my own family home and have their own bedroom with their Mother to ensure their safety. Both mum and dad are my family pets (plus 2 other labs) and have been with me since they were eight weeks old. I think it is important that you meet the parents and get to see the home in which they have been raised as this has contributed to their temperament and loving natures. They are not particularly big Labradors; they have long legs with fine features and a compact structure. Mum has had all her antenatal care provided by Greenbank Vet hospital www.greenbankvetsqld.com.au Mum has been primarily fed Royal Canin puppy food fresh eggs (and shells) during her pregnancy and she loves chicken necks and wings as a regular treat. Mum and Dad have been treated with oral Drontal for intestinal worms, injectable ProHeart for heart worm prevention, oral Bravecto for flea and Tick control plus annual C5 vaccination. Mum and Dad have excellent hip and elbow scoring and are full breed DNA tested and clear of inheritable diseases. It is important to me as an ethical breeder that your puppies get the best start in life by their parents having all the appropriate health surveillance pre and post conception.
