Labrador Silver Coat Colour Warning - The National Labrador Retriever Breed Council (Australia) has issued a position statement for the Silver (or Platinum / Charcoal) Coat Colour. The Labrador only has 3 recognised colours - (Black, Yellow and Liver/Chocolate).

OLDER PUPPIES:
Often older puppies are better to adopt than baby 8 week puppies, especially if you are a first time dog owner or are worried about bringing a baby puppy into your home.
Recently two of my older pups have gone to homes where the owners have previously had puppies of mine.
Feedback is such that they are easier to toilet train, good on a lead (for a puppy) and settled more easily.

Margembie Labradors was established in 2004.
We are a small kennel, focusing on breeding quality, not quantity.

We started breeding when we fell in love with the breed after adopting our first-ever Labrador in 2002.

Like many young couples, my boyfriend (now husband) adopted Gemma to start our lives together.
Our prefix 'MARGEMBIE' was derived from a portion of each of our names.

MAR - from Mark
GEM - from Gemma
BIE - from Debbie

Together we are MAR-GEM-BIE

Our aim is to provide other families the same love, loyalty & companionship we received from our beautiful yellow girl 'Gemma'.

Gemma crossed the rainbow bridge in August 2016, 2 weeks shy of her 14th birthday.
We were absolutely devastated to lose her, but are extremely thankful knowing she lives on through our breeding.

Our dogs are first & foremost our treasured family pets. They are our family dogs, & they, along with their puppies, are socialised & grow up on our 4 acres with our children aged 10, 8, & 6 years old.
Our children adore them as much as we do.

Not only do our lovable Labs make excellent companions, but they are also proven gun & assistance dogs.

We aim to breed loving & loyal Labradors for everyone to enjoy.

Our Labradors are PENN Hip, Hip & Elbow scored, & have full DNA, Eye & Cardiac clearances.

Josmyn Labradors are committed to breeding quality and correct Labradors for show/ companion, we have a strong direction on type, conformation and temperament. Living on 90 acres our dogs are free to run, swim, and play. I have a strong passion for the Labrador breed, they make such wonderful family companions.

We have been working hard since we started breeding to use only the best possible sires over our girls and titled where possible.

Our very first Chocolate girl was Ashalily Maggie, after alot of research we were very excited to introduce her as our Matriarch and from her we started to use the Blackhills and Lacote lines.

We have black, yellow and chocolate females who all have some of the best imported and international pedigrees available.

At Josmyn Labradors we pride ourselves on only breeding from genetically clear breeding stock with below average hip scores and only 0 elbows.

We also breed Warmbloods and have been for 15 years, our horses have been exported and are kicking goals in eventing, dressage and showjumping.

We now own two stud dogs that have full imported pedigrees. Both boys are chocolate and produce amazing beautiful puppies/ adults.
