He is a true to type Newfoundland with a superb temperament. We only breed from health tested dogs . Puppies are sometimes available . We welcome people to meet the dogs at home & at shows.

Shallockburn Newfoundlands is a small kennel located in South Gippsland, Victoria, dedicated to the betterment of the breed. We breed only occasionally, with each litter carefully planned and raised with a focus on health, temperament, and breed type. All our breeding dogs undergo comprehensive health testing, including DNA testing, hip and elbow scoring, and full health assessments. My journey with Newfoundlands began in 2009 when I welcomed my first Newfoundland, a dog in need of rehoming. I quickly fell in love with the breed’s gentle nature, loyalty, and intelligence. In 2015, under the mentorship of Capebass Newfoundlands, I entered the show ring with my first show dog, who gained his Australian Champion title. Since then, I have also titled my two girls to their Australian Champion title. In 2021, I bred my first litter, further strengthening my passion for breeding healthy, well-socialised puppies that exemplify the wonderful qualities of the Newfoundland. Our dogs are treasured family members who share our home and daily adventures, from camping and hiking to relaxing on the couch. We are also actively involved in scent work and man trailing, activities our dogs thoroughly enjoy.
