Started in the breed over 20 years ago when purchasing from Rick and Kathryn Berwick a show male Ellesmyre Ruffn Tumble. He won baby in group at his first show and we were hooked! He went to win numerous best in group awards as well as Best in Show Awards (all breeds/ and specialty) and become my first champion so a wonderful start with the breed. Over the years I have owned and or bred the following:
- All Breeds Best in Show Winners
- National Specialty BIS Winner
- Specialty Best in Show winners in Tasmania, South Australia and Victoria.
- 6 Grand Champions (one home bred)
- 2 Tasmanian Contest of Champion Winners

PERFU was established in 1979 after Chris and Sue successfully exhibited under the Baluchistan prefix, owned byEffie Moore.

Baluchistan was established in 1971. Since this time Chris has continually exhibited Old English Sheepdogs throughout Australia.

During this time PERFU has bred/exhibited many OES champions and Grand Champions, which are now shown by Sue, Chris and Jason Moore.

PERFU has been Australia's top OES breeder since 2013

PERFU was the home of the famous Supreme Champion Brinkley Song 'N' Dance Man at Perfu (IMP UK)

THE FAMOUS DANNYBOY WAS THE WORLD BREED RECORD HOLDER FOR BEST IN SHOWS AND AUSTRALIA'S TOP OES 2005-2012.

He also won the working group at Sydney and Melbourne Royals in 2011, Australia’s largest shows.

PERFU was also thrilled to export Danny’s son to the UK in 2010 ENG and AUST CH PERFU the BOY FROM OF OZ who gained his English Championship after 10 months of exhibition, a grand achievement. His progeny won two classes at Crufts in 2014, and his daughter was top OES bitch in UK in 2014. He now has progeny throughout Europe

They are also proud to introduce from USA, American and Australian Champion Barkshire's Captain America - "Roger" . Currently #1 OES All Breeds in Australia. He was imported to compliment the Perfu breeding Program.

Perfu health check all their breeding stock and puppies,The Moore's are also dedicated to the preservation of the breed in Australia

Breeder of healthy pups for show or pet homes.

Pups are whelped in the family home and well socialised. Both parents of puppies are hip scored and DNA tested for CA + eye tested; pups are pedigree registered with Dogs NSW and microchipped.

Our first OES came into our lives in 1967 and over these past 44 years we have shown, obedience trialled and bred many champions. Our aim is to breed a dog who firstly is a great family pet who is also healthy, intelligent, sound and a great companion. The numerous show champions along the way that we and our owners have also achieved are the icing on the cake! Movement, type and soundness are our aim in each litter. Puppies occassionaly available to selected homes and usually pre sold to those on a wait list.

Established 1978. Importers of 6 American and/ or Canadian Champions. Breeders of multiple BIS and BISS Winners combining the very best lines to maintain breed type while improving soundness. Our puppies are bred from Champion/Imported stock that has been extensively health tested including hip scored, microchipped, DNA and health certified. Puppies are very seldom available. In 2018 we qualified an adult and 2 puppies Our US import, SUP CH/AM CH WYNSILOT N LARAME COME TOGETHER (imp USA) is a consistent In Show winner. He has amassed 20 BEST IN SHOW wins and multiple RUNNERUP IN SHOW and BEST IN group wins. In December last year we imported a young bitch from Wynsilot Kennels, WYNSILOT NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN who has finished her Australian Title with Multiple In Group and In Show wins. Bobkins Kennels was founded by Rose Dillon in 1982 and has bred selectively over the past 30+ years, breeding for quality rather than quantity. Sadly the kennel's founder passed away in 2010 however her daughter Cherie is continuing her love of the breed with the intention that pups will be available from breeding selected for soundness and temperament.

My litters are raised in a Home environment. This makes sure that the puppies are well socialised.
I health check and hip xray my Breeding stock,and have the xrays read and certified so to ensure that I breed with dogs that have better than average hips.
All my puppies are wormed, vaccinated and micro chipped.
Hartwyn breed sparingly, but we have a waiting list for those who we believe will become loving owners of a well bred Hartwyn Old English Sheepdog puppy.
