Passionate about the Siberian Husky, they have been a huge part of my life now for over 30 years and I couldn't imagine life without them.

I have imported numerous dogs over these years from America and Canada as well as frozen semen to improve and increase the gene pool here in Australia.

I have bred under 2 other kennel names in the past as well as my kennel name Krisaido which I have now returned too.
'Koolmove' being the most recent and the last litter was born in 2018. Over the 14 years breeding dogs under this name, many Supreme, Grand Champions & Champions were gained through winning multiple Best in Shows/Royals and Best in Show Specialties. Also seeing ‘Koolmove’ winning the ‘Breeder of the Year’ in 2017 DOL Pointscore.
I am extremely proud of the dogs and all that were involved in achieving these prestigious awards.

We have had so much fun with our dogs which were carefully bred for brains, attitude and fabulously good looks using Grand / Supreme Champions and obedience titled dogs and have produced all colours. Hips and eyes checked for all adult breeding dogs.

Many have gained titles in Agility, Flyball, Endurance and Dances with Dogs and Rally O Obedience; and since 2016 Weight Pull, Working Pack Dog and Lure Coursing; as well as traditional ANKC obedience. A true reflection on the wonderful calm and friendly temperaments of Mikulov Siberian Huskies.

Sadly, with the passing of Richard in 2020, I have stopped breeding Huskies, moving to more trainable Golden Retrievers (puppies available in 2024)

Arcticpalace have been breeding and exhibiting Siberian Huskies for 20 plus years now and have been very successful in the showring, but also priding ourselves on quality tempraments as well as breed conformation.

Our foundation Siberians we started out with were "Jack" Grand Champion Arcticmate Yukons Jack and "Princess" Grand Champion Thundova Snow Princess both were Multi Best in Show Winners.
Our first homebred litter from these two were "Chief" Grand Champion Arcticpalace Yukons Cheif and "Duchess" Gr Ch Arcticpalace Snow Duchess , both Multi Best in Show winners.
All are sadly no longer with us passing at very old ages, Jack, 14, Princess 12 and Daughter Duchess 16, 1 month and 26 days.😢 Cheif unfortunately was our first and only dog taken by tragedy at 7 years old.
All our dogs are eye tested & from Hip Xrayed and scored lines and have shown proven longevity in their lives, with many here at Arcticpalace are retired and in double digits.

We have gone on to breed many Supreme Champions, Grand Champions and Champions under the Arcticpalace prefix been very successful in the showring and have made ourselves and many people very happy to own their own Siberian Husky puppies to which we have met and made many wonderful friends through.

Our dogs also run in harness in the dry land dog sledding and thoroughly enjoy doing this and what they were bred for.

My interest in this breed started way back in 1996 when I bought my first Siberian Husky. After emigrating to NZ I became involved with the breed again and got another Siberian bred by Kiriay Kennels and I subsequently registered the Snowolf affix. I strive to breed Siberian Huskies which are true to breed type with their initial purpose in mind - that of a long distance runner carrying a light load in the snow. I'm particularly proud of my success at breed Specialty shows in both dogs and bitches and I have bred and own the only 2 NZ Specialty Grand Champion titled siberian huskies - DaVinci and Cheeky.

My kennel partner Laura Simpson is the trainer and musher for the race part of our kennel fondly known as Team Red. Laura began as a puppy owner when she purchased a gorgeous red bitch called Tikaani back in 2008 and found her passion out on the trail. Laura has competitively raced anything from single dog scooter through a successful 6 dog rig team. We have recently titled our first dual champion show & race dog with many others having their SD and SDX plus show champion titles. Laura has also competed in various distance sled events both dryland and snow and was the most successful pedigree Siberian distance team in 2022.
