I have owned and bred Pembrokes for 50 years and over that time have been fortunate to have owned and bred many champions - winners at both specialty and all breeds level. We have also been fortunate to have our Pembrokes go to many wonderful homes - many owners having come back again to Jopearl for their puppies. I am proud (along with co-breeder John Burgess) to have bred the first Pembroke exported to the UK who has gained her UK championship title - the beautiful Aust/Eng Ch Jopearl First Noelle at Breconmohr for Stadwen owned by the Rees family in Wales.

We have a couple of litters per year and also work very closely with other like minded breeders with breeding and finding forever homes for their pups.
All our current adult dogs have had full DNA breed profiles done, (we do not rely on past generations genetics), and all pups are parentage verified. (to confirm their parents)
Do we show? Yes, sometimes, but it’s not a priority.
Our dogs enjoy herding in the cooler months & work with other animals on our property, doing what they enjoy and what they were initially bred for.
When deciding to breed, we all put a huge emphasis on temperament, breeding to the breed standard, while at the same time we are all working at cleaning up the genetics of the breed.

We are located on the Granite Belt, in Queensland, not far from the NSW border and pups can be viewed by appointment at a Brisbane location.

The most important things for me in breeding is temperament and movement. If a dog can move correctly its conformation should be correct.
I have been successfully breeding natural bobtails since 2005.
I am very passionate about my corgis.

I am a small animal veterinarian that happens to love Pembroke Welsh Corgi's. We have a small kennel and only breed occasionally. Our breeders are our family pets as well. We are a small, family run Welsh Pembroke Corgi breeder. We now have just the one purebred breeding stud (owned by our daughter), and two females, Hazel & Harriett. All are from champion bloodlines and have been thoroughly health checked on a regular basis. All of our other dogs are happily retired here with us on the farm. They are very happy, loving, intelligent and (usually) obedient dogs. We are always welcomed home with big smiles and wagging tails.

We aim to breed extremely high quality family pets with the superb temperaments and excellent health of their parents.

Of course, first and foremost our gorgeous dogs are our family pets and are a much loved, irreplaceable part of our family. They are not caged animals but have the run of the house yard, getting out with us on the property several times a day, for a swim in one of the dams or just a good explore of the hills and gullies. They of course spend plenty of time inside with us in front of the fire or under the air conditioner, happily watching T.V. Yes, they are just a tad spoilt, but that's how they're supposed to be!!

I have a love for my breed and showing them gives me a socialisation aspect in my personal life.

I actively show as much as my life allows, I titled my first pedigree corgi Benson to Australian Champion as of Easter 2019.

In November 2020 I was luckily enough to get my new girl Reign from Gloria Woodward (Aberlee). Ch. Aberlee Reign Of Love.

Reign has been genetically health tested and I am very happy with what she has in both genetics and conformation that will continue on upholding the integrity and standard of the breed, under mentor Gloria Woodward.

Ch. Aberlee Rollin In Sunshine “Rollo” is a RUBISS winner at the corgi speciality held July 2023.

- Multi Class In Show Winner
- Multi Best/RUP In Group Winner
Rollo is genetically clear of all genetic traits in the breed & a proven stud.

I am a small breeder and will only breed for myself to continue on the progeny in the show ring.

BUNYAVIEW is a small kennel located in a peaceful rural setting in the South Burnett. My dogs enjoy the country lifestyle - runs around the paddock, swims in the dam, and quad bike rides. They do tidy up though!

I show my dogs and puppies when I can, enjoying the change of scenery from the farm to the show ring. My husband and I have had border collies on our farm for the past 30 years and made the move to being registered Dogs Qld breeders when we decided we wanted to show our dogs and be more involved with the breed... and we haven't looked back. Always loving herding dogs and admiring the Welsh Corgi for many years, I got my first registered Welsh Pembroke Corgi in 2019 from my now great friend Leigh, from Izalab. I've met the most wonderful bunch of 'Corgi Folk' and LOVE showing and talking Corgi's.

My dogs are DNA tested and hip scored (young dogs still in the process of). When I do have puppies I generally sell on limited (pet) register but will consider mains registration for fellow ANKC registered Breeders who are show homes. Puppies on the limited register come with a desexing voucher to assist in the cost of sterilization.
