We are a small select kennel based in the beautiful Blue Mountains NSW. I have been breeding Golden Retrievers since 1971 and more recently Whippets since 2013. Here at Gunarryn we only breed sparingly, generally only 1 or 2 litters every couple of years, every litter is bred to the highest standard and reared in our home. Hi i have been showing whippets for years & breeding dogs for years as well

Welcome to Twmbarlwm (pronounced Tomb-bar-loom) whippets. Difficult to pronounce given the lack of vowels, unless you have a Welsh background! A nod to an ancient hill fort near my childhood home, to which I have walked many times. The views are unforgettable over the River Severn Estuary and Bridge, across to Bristol and over the lush Welsh Valleys. Since a child whippets have been a part of the family, both in Wales & Australia. A very confident and smart whippet ‘Jasmine’ was the catalyst for my research into breeding practices. Jasmine left us at the young age of 7 due to an inherited condition of Mitral valve disease and pulmonary stenosis, we were devastated. This event was the beginning of my research journey into canine genetics, nutrition, structure and movement, along with best practice puppy socialization. Lots of reading, courses and exams and I am now at the point of starting my breeding program. I have gained a certificate in canine genetics, an Educated Breeder Certificate from Therapy dogs Australia Breeder Standards and am continuing to build on my nutrition knowledge with a 12 month Professional Certification in canine biological nutrition & dietetics. I am also completing a canine first aid course.

Working as a vet nurse in Victoria for 7 years, now located in southern Tasmania and employed as Senior kennel attendant at Greyhounds as Pets, I have always had alot of love and a huge appreciation for sighthounds, with whippets being a particular favourite of mine. Their size and temperament and energy levels, make for fantastic family pets, we are so lucky to share our home with a whippet

we are a small, dedicated whippet kennel focused on temperament, soundness and overall wellbeing. Based in Nar Nar goon, we aim to produce well-balanced dogs suited to both active and companion homes. Members of Dogs Victoria for five years, our program began with our foundation bitch, Horizonview Sweet Evie (Horizonview Stud, Sydney), valued for her type, nature and soundness. We have bred one litter from Evie, sired by FC. Isilwane The Easybeat, retaining Isilwane Fruit Tingle to continue our lines. Evie is currently in pup to (LC) Life In The Fast Lane, due mid-May, and this will be her final litter. Our dogs are raised on a horse and cattle property with a hands-on approach, ensuring they are well socialised and adaptable. While our focus has been on temperament, we look forward to becoming involved in lure coursing with our young bitch Ivy. Puppies may occasionally be available to carefully selected homes.
