I have had whippets for well over 35 years now, Mostly as my much loved pets. I have hunted with them and raced them for years and have now decided to continue on with them in the show ring as well as Lure coursing. Our whippets here consist of American and English lines mostly but some Australian blood as well. We sometimes have retired adults available to loving homes. Whippets joined our Border Collie family 15 years ago. Since then, they have taken over the Khayoz house!! Thanks to some experienced breeders for sharing their breeding with us, we have been fortunate to breed some lovely Whippets ourselves. We have had much success in the showring but have also bred some lovely Whippets who are now enjoying the best life in their homes. Puppies are initially raised indoors, and then conditioned to an indoor/ outdoor environment.

Gold Country is located in Regional Victoria. Our Whippets are raised in a tranquil country setting and are very much a part of our family, they are involved in everything we do such as bush walking, motor bike riding, swimming and road trips! Our Whippets have participated in Lure Coursing however not at a competitive level. Our breeding program pays particular attention to temperament, soundness and health. All puppies have health checks and are vaccinated (6 weeks) & microchipped prior to joining their new family. We spare no expense when raising our puppies. Our puppies receive a well balance quality raw diet along with Black Hawk Puppy dry food and are wormed regularly with various brands, such as Drontol, Advocate and NexGuard. Our puppies come with Pedigree Papers and new owners are supplied with individual puppy packs that include diet information, worming regime as well as some useful information and tips about owning a Whippet. Our puppies also receive a Black Hawk Puppy Pack which includes a 3kg bag of Black Hawk Puppy dry food to assist with transition, Blackhawk Treats, a new toy for your puppy as well as a $20 voucher for futures orders!! Welcome to Twmbarlwm (pronounced Tomb-bar-loom) whippets. Difficult to pronounce given the lack of vowels, unless you have a Welsh background! A nod to an ancient hill fort near my childhood home, to which I have walked many times. The views are unforgettable over the River Severn Estuary and Bridge, across to Bristol and over the lush Welsh Valleys. Since a child whippets have been a part of the family, both in Wales & Australia. A very confident and smart whippet ‘Jasmine’ was the catalyst for my research into breeding practices. Jasmine left us at the young age of 7 due to an inherited condition of Mitral valve disease and pulmonary stenosis, we were devastated. This event was the beginning of my research journey into canine genetics, nutrition, structure and movement, along with best practice puppy socialization. Lots of reading, courses and exams and I am now at the point of starting my breeding program. I have gained a certificate in canine genetics, an Educated Breeder Certificate from Therapy dogs Australia Breeder Standards and am continuing to build on my nutrition knowledge with a 12 month Professional Certification in canine biological nutrition & dietetics. I am also completing a canine first aid course.

we are a small, dedicated whippet kennel focused on temperament, soundness and overall wellbeing. Based in Nar Nar goon, we aim to produce well-balanced dogs suited to both active and companion homes. Members of Dogs Victoria for five years, our program began with our foundation bitch, Horizonview Sweet Evie (Horizonview Stud, Sydney), valued for her type, nature and soundness. We have bred one litter from Evie, sired by FC. Isilwane The Easybeat, retaining Isilwane Fruit Tingle to continue our lines. Evie is currently in pup to (LC) Life In The Fast Lane, due mid-May, and this will be her final litter. Our dogs are raised on a horse and cattle property with a hands-on approach, ensuring they are well socialised and adaptable. While our focus has been on temperament, we look forward to becoming involved in lure coursing with our young bitch Ivy. Puppies may occasionally be available to carefully selected homes.
