We are seeking an exceptional home for Kitt, a 2½ y.o entire male (mains pedigree) who deserves an owner willing to appreciate him for who he is. Kitt is a loyal, intelligent dog who thrives when he has a close connection with his people. He is happiest as part of everyday life rather than simply being a dog in the backyard. He enjoys having space to move, a purpose, and people he can call his own. Having spent time around cattle, Kitt would be particularly well suited to a rural or acreage property where he can enjoy a quieter lifestyle and become a valued companion. He is naturally observant and aware of his surroundings, making him an excellent watchdog who will alert to visitors and unusual activity around the property. Kitt is social with other dogs and would happily share his home with a suitable female companion. He is not suited to living with other male dogs. While Kitt is devoted to those he knows, he can be reserved with unfamiliar people and prefers the opportunity to get to know new individuals on his own terms. He would be best matched with someone who understands that trust and relationships are built over time. This is not a decision we are making lightly. SUNDANEKA ARIANNA MADDIE (LSC) DOB: 08/10/2016 The current owner, Kimmy has to make an incredibly difficult decision, but it has come to the point where Kimmy needs to surrender Maddie. She loves her very much, but Kimmy can no longer manage her on her own. Maddie is a beautiful, affectionate, and loving dog who enjoys being around people. Unfortunately, Maddie was never properly trained by her late partner, and despite Kimmy's best efforts, Kimmy feels she has not been able to give Maddie the guidance and consistency Maddie needs. Maddie is strong, and Kimmy is not able to manage he on lead. She is good with children but doesn't realize her own size and strength, so she tends to jump up. She is excited when meeting new people or seeing other dogs. Once she has time to settle, she is friendly and relaxed.Her previous owner, Kimmys's partner, did not treat Maddie well, and although Maddie has come a long way since living with Kimmy, she still needs someone who has the experience, time, and physical ability to continue with her retraining in a new home.Maddie is desexed and up to date with all of her vaccinations.
