At Balexi Border Collies we are excited to embark on this journey of our breeding program to maintain the integrity and beauty of this breed. We focus on the special needs of this intelligent working breed when pairing our babies with their new family.
We follow Puppy Culture protocols from birth to prepare puppies to be confident in their environments. This includes ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) training, and exposure to physical and visual stimuli, and household noises. Pups will be raised in a family environment, and also be exposed to children and adults, and will have commenced crate training before leaving.
Pups will be raised inside our family home, and will be whelped inside. They will have a temperature-controlled whelping area, and then as they get older they will venture outside, where we will have a grassed area for them to engage in sensory play and enrichment (obstacle courses, exploration area etc.).
All pups will be wormed and vaccinated, and come micro-chipped. Our breeding girl Bailey is tested for all relevant genetic diseases, as has been hip and elbow scored. Adults and pups will be fed a high quality, well-balanced diet. We will also provide a desexing contract to new owners.
All puppies will come with 6 weeks free insurance, puppy training information, a puppy raising guide, DNA results of parents, a certificate of vet check, relevant health records, a breed specific care guide, a suggested shopping list, and an ANKC registration.
