Supreme Ch. & Neuter Grand Ch. Tamsala Plymouth Roadrunner (AI)
Heather Ann has been waiting for many years for another red and white Tamsala Basenji to campaign and Hemi is a very special boy being the son of "Ferris" who Heather campaigned very successfully throughout NSW during her years in the Hunter Valley.
Heather Ann and and Hemi have had lots of fun together attaining Hemi's Supreme Ch. Title at 20 months of age in early October 2019 with 4 x BIS, 1 x RUBIS, 17 x BIG & 8 RUBIG wins plus numerous Class In Group and Class In Show awards.. Whilst in Adelaide Hemi's best friend Bianca Musolino wass his number 1 handler for his conformation campaign.
Hemi commenced his Neuter Campaign on December 6, 2019 and achieved his Neuter Grand Chamption title on April 3, 2021.
Despite the COVID-19 imposed absence from showing for the period 15.03.2020 to 07.08.2020 inclusive, Hemi achieved 27 Neuter in Show and 19 Runner-Up Neuter In Show Awards during his Neuter Camapign; with all but 1 of his NIS and 2 of his RUNIS wins being achieved in Adelaide.
Hemi now bows gracefully from the show ring to enjoy a very well deserved retirement from full time campaigning. Hemi reckons that he might come out again for a spin around the ring in the warmer months, but like Heather Ann he is really looking forward to not having to compete in the cold of autumn and winter.
Jan and I would like to sincerely thank all the judges, national and international who have admired Hemi's breed Type and attributes and have consistently awarded him so highly.
To quote Ms. Mary Eather (2021 April SA Hound Club Championship Show Judge) in her critique "Red and white male, fine boned, small hooded ears, wrinkled forehead. So many breed characteristics ticked off this effortlessly moving little dog who floated around the ring with gazelle-like grace".
