Can/Aust Ch Tamaron's Arranbrae Tradition (Imp Can)
He had not been shown for several years and it took a good deal of time, effort and money to get him back in show condition.
In September I promised Trudy his breeder in Canada, that I would do my best to win Best Of Breed at the 2006 Western Classic with her boy. I am so happy to have been able to make that dream come true.
Trad also was Challenge Dog and RUBOB to our RUBIS Ch LochWind Better B Witched at the Winter Festival on 14th July 2006, under Mr James Reynolds of Canada. That win will be his last as I elected to retire him whilst he was in great form.
Mr Reynolds had the honour of judging Westminster this year in USA.
Despite only attending these few shows in 2006 Trad is ranked number 5 collie in WA and 25th in Australia on the Dogzonline Pointscore.
Trad is a quality collie with a wonderful headpiece and great movement.
His sire Am Ch Highcroft Tamaron's Contender, is a litter brother to LochWind's foundation bitch, Am Ch Highcroft Caliente (Imp USA) and as such I have always had a great interest in this collie since his arrival in Western Australia in December 1999.
At the 2002 Perth Royal Show under Mr Horatio Pizzorno, Trad was Runner Up Best of Breed to my Calli daughter Ch LochWind Arts Degree.
A few of Trad's first litter at LochWind have already made their debut in the Baby Classes with LochWind Exclusive and LochWind Exposé winning their classes and LochWind Explorer winning Baby In Group at his only show to date. These pups will now be allowed to mature before coming out again in 2007.
Ch LochWind Exclusive was highest ranked number one collie in Qld in his first year there, gaining over 100 points before age 12 months. He easily titled on turning one year old. The first champion for Trad.
