RUBISS /Ch LochWind Better B Witched
Best of Breed at the Winter Festival, 14th July 2006. Judged by Mr James Reynold (Canada) who had the honour of judging at Westminster earlier this year.
The previous weekend Lacey was Challenge Bitch and RUBOB at the Collie & Shetland Sheepdog Club Specialty. These were her only two shows in 2006.
Lacey is my beautiful and only blue girl, who had a somewhat delayed start to her show career.
Only shown an handful of times in 2003 in the Baby classes, a slower maturer than her sister Logie, so stayed at home until late 2004.
Now making amends for her slow start, she has already been Best of Breed & Intermediate in Group under breed specialist Mr Robert Bell - Jenrock Collies.
In July 2005 at the Winter Festival she was Runner Up Best of Breed on both days to her sister Ch LochWind Better B Dazzled and her half sister Ch LochWind Color Mia Rainbo. As well as State Bred in Group under Yoshio Mori, Japan, collie specialist judge.
In August 2005 at the Collie Specialty Show judged by Mrs Jane Armatys - Keamaree Collies, Lacey was Runner Up Best In Show and State Bred In Show.
On the 9th July 2006 at the Collie and Shetland Sheepdog Club Show with 34 entries Lacey won Challenge Bitch and Runner Up Best of Breed under Ms J Docksey of NSW.
