Aust Ch Vedamea Art Ov Gold
Quinn was flown to Sydney on loan to Vedamea Collies to breed to Ch Fantasy Fait Accompli (Imp USA) ... however Quinn was bred to Ch Vedamea How Sweet Thou Art - Peaches was one of this litter.
A tri dog and sable bitch from this litter were retained by Vedamea and called Vedamea State Ov The Art and Change Ov Art, these two pups won Puppy Dog and Bitch classes respectively at the SA Collie Nationals under Val Geddes - Ingledene Collies UK.
State Ov The Art beat his sister for Best Puppy of Variety.
Another quality collie to result from this Quinn litter is Supreme Ch Roxedo Black Raven. Black Raven is owned by Bernadette Lines of Kilcoy Collies and is also featured on Dogz On Line.
A carbon copy of her father, Peaches was winning in Perth right from her first appearance at the Western Classic 2003, also taking RUBOB at the Winter Festival that same year, for her first points at seven months of age.
Flying in to the 2003 Melbourne Royal Peaches won Best Collie Puppy of variety competing against the best male collie pup, now successful sire, Ch Vedamea I Spy My Fantasy. The judge that year was Mr Yoshio Mori a breed specialist from Japan.
At Perth Royal, Peaches has been awarded Minor in Group and Junior in Group in consecutive years.
March 2006, Peaches last show, she garnered Challenge Bitch. Whilst my two dogs took BOB & RUBOB at the Western Classic under Mr R J McMillan from the renowned Grand Gables Shetland Sheepdog Kennels in Canada. Included in a 40+ collie entry that year were two Grand Champion collies from the eastern states who flew over to compete.
