I started showing pedigree dogs in New Zealand back in about 1974 at the age of 7. My parents bred Boxers and I competed in the child and junior handler classes with alot of success. I then progressed to showing my parents Boxers in the breed ring.
I was well and truly hooked on showing and in 1981 our family purchased their first British Bulldog. It was at this time I also commenced stewarding for many Clubs.
In 1996 I began judging, progressing through the NZ judging scheme and obtained my Non Sporting Championship licence.
Throughout the years I have sucessfully owned and shown British Bulldogs, French Bulldogs, Bullmastiffs, Boxers, an Australian Kelpie and a Greyhound. Breeding British Bulldogs and Bullmastiffs.
In 2007 my husband and I moved to Australia and I continued my judging here.
I have had the pleasure of judging Specialty British Bulldog Shows in Queensland and New South Wales.
I have judged Non Sporting in NZ and in Queensland, Australia.
I enjoy my judging appointments and hopefully at some stage soon I may be able to add another Group to the list.
