My association with Sighthounds spans 35 years. The Taejaan Whippet breeding program is focused on typey healthy happy puppies. The Taejaan kennel has produced winners of BIS Sydney Royal Show (the only owner bred Whippet to do so), Adelaide Royal BIS Shows and Numerous Specialty BIS.
Our Siberian Huskies have also done well for us by winning BIS Sydney Royal.We sometimes have quality puppies available to select homes and maybe an older dog on the odd ocassion.

The love affair with Sighthounds began in 1973 with Afghan Hounds, then came the Salukis and Whippets.
We have owned/bred A/B BIS Multiple Spec BIS winning Salukis since 1986, and finished many Champions.
We breed the occasional litter and have bred 3 litters since 1986.
Ch Kiabe Shahira "Sydney" pictured is our ideal saluki and she will live on in her children.

Taejaan is the home of Spec/All Breeds BIS Grand Ch Illahee Summer Fun "Wolf" who was the first Siberian to go Best In Show Sydney Royal and is the only home bred Siberian to win this prestigious award. We are a small kennel who are focused on breeding superior healthy puppies. We have puppies available from time to time.

We strive to breed and exhibit dogs of superior quality for show,companian and field. Our dogs have won BIS at both Sydney and Adelaide Royal and dogs we have bred are consistent Specialty and all Breed BIS winners.Our dogs are renown for their calm temperaments and a joy to live with. We have puppies available to suitable homes from time to time.To date Taejaan has bred or owned 15 Grand champions with others close to their title.
