We hold 3-4 Meet & Greet INFORMATION Days a year. We invite the public to come to our Centre and meet a variety of adults dogs who live with different families to learn about the breed. Alfoxton Dog Centre has run training classes since 1993. We understand how important it is to have dogs with the right temperaments to fit into human society. Started breeding in 1984 and since then have developed our own intensive Puppy Enrichment Program. By the time our pups head off to homes they are experienced in car travel, meeting new dogs, visiting outside homes as well as exploring our farm. We encourage new owners to visit and bond from the times pups are 3 weeks old - even attending some of our puppy classes.

Our own dogs live with families and actively involved in Promotional Displays at public venues. Also working in Classes and Workshops. With over 30 years breeding experience (initially GSD now Aussies) we still prefer to only breed perhaps 3 litters a year - this allows us to enjoy the process of working with dogs and still have the time required to raise our pups and support new owners.

I have owned an Aussie since 1996 and the first AusFX litter was born in 2011. Puppies are raised using Puppy Culture protocols. PC teaches the puppy to be an enrichment seeker, and gives them a voice, generally resulting in a calmer, happier, more balanced puppy.

Puppies are evaluated at 8 weeks against the breed standard for structural soundness. They are microchipped, vet checked and vaccinated, eye tested, and registered with Dogs Victoria before going to their new homes. All applicable health testing is done on breeding dogs. Much time and research goes into researching pedigrees and selecting parents with sound temperaments who complement each other's conformation.

AusFX dogs are successfully competing in conformation, herding, endurance, obedience, rally-o, agility, tricks, scentwork and more.

I am happy to discuss your requirements, be they competitive or companion, in order to make the most suitable home match for every puppy. Please note that I do not place puppies based solely on physical characteristics (which is only a small part of the whole package), instead concentrating on best personality fit to each pup’s new home.

Purchased my first Aussie in 2010 after meeting these dogs at the local training school where I had been with our previous Boxer. It didn't take long before I became a confirmed Aussie enthusiast. Working in partnership with the breeder I was able to raise my first two litters under her guidance and support. With the confidence built I then registered my prefix and proudly raised my first Inasense litter in 2015.

My family are strong supporters and we follow the tradition of raising our puppies in the home with our family, human and canine. Our girls are hip/elbows scored and DNA tested and we look forward to future litters.

We have been involved in Australian Shepherds for over 20 years and got our first Aussie after falling in love with the breed at an agility trial.

We take pride that we don't just breed fantastic family pets but also put in the extra effort to test our dogs' soundness of mind and body against the breed standard by actively competing in sanctioned ANKC events both in the conformation ring (show ring) and performance ring (i.e. herding, agility, lure coursing, etc). This is in addition to DNA testing, annual eye examinations and hip and elbow scoring that our dogs undergo PRIOR to any breedings taking place.

Australian Shepherds officially joined us in 2017 with the arrival of our boy "Jack" from the United States. Jack is the one of the most successful Australian Shepherds to be shown in Australia and is the current All Breeds BIS record holder.

We breed on average 2-3 litters per year striving for excellence in temperament, health and breed type.

We have shared our lives with Australian Shepherds since 1995. We live with a small number of dogs as each dog competes in numerous activities and lives out their lives with us as family members.

The Aussie is an excellent versatile all rounder and we have successfully titled dogs in Agility, Obedience, Rally, Tricks, Tracking, Flyball, Endurance, Herding and Conformation. We breed very occasionally when we would like a dog to join our family and prefer to home puppies in performance/sporting homes. We have been importing working line genetics from the USA for our bitches and have unique proven working pedigrees in Australia. I have owned Australian Shepherds for 14 years.
Currently I compete in a wide range of sports with Rozate Calamity Jane (Indi) and a relative newcomer to the sports arena Rozate Slide Guitar Legend (Fenda). Both dogs enjoy their time spent doing tracking, track and search, rally, obedience, herding, scentwork, tricks, agility and jumping.

A registered breeder since 2012, it was not until 2019 that Hailshine Kennels bred our first litter of puppies. It was our aim then and into the future to produce puppies of excellent temperament, suited to the dogs sports arenas but equally at home as much loved family pets.

We breed infrequently with our next litter anticipated for December 2022 from our homebred young girl Key (Hailshine Secret of the Loch). This will be her first litter prior to following in her mothers footsteps in the dog sports arenas.

Located in western Victoria, we breed rarely. Our dogs are very much part of our family, and spend their time with us on our 10 acres property, plus trips to the beach and camping in the bush, as well as attending shows and dog sport trials.

We fell in love with the Aussie breed a number of years ago and were lucky enough to have as our introduction to the breed our wonderful Annie, Indyridge Bella CDX RN. She is a one-in-a-million dog who is wonderful to live with and has been a great introduction into the world of obedience trialling for me, which then led me to the show ring, with the addition of a dog from Borderton Kennels in Western Australia. Reuben bounded into our lives and is now known as Australian Champion Borderton Zenvo Ltd Edition and we thank Borderton for allowing us to love and campaign this dog. Our latest show star is Sassy, Australian Champion Amerahnn Walk of Fame, who is beautiful inside and out.

All our dogs are loved by us and are a big part of our family. We only have litters occasionally and the pups are brought up inside our home with our children and other pets.

Previous pups we have bred are living as much loved family companions, as well as being trialled in dog sports and in the show ring.

We discovered this breed when we bought and fell in love with our first Aussie almost 10 years ago. Ever since then we wanted to explore and find out more about the breed. What stands out for us the most is that every Aussie is unique. They are loyal and affectionate dogs to the people they are most bonded with. They do best with plenty of human companionship: they are often called "Velcro dogs" for their strong desire to always be near their owners and for their tendency to form intense, devoted bonds with select people. Aussies have very keen minds and sharp observation skills, always looking for patterns and reading your every mood. With good training they can become a highly skilled dog. We aim to produce dogs of a high standard for families who are looking for their next best friend. They will also be suited to herding and agility. Our dogs are part of our family and are always by our side. Our puppies will be well socialised and around children and adults of all ages.
