She was the Reserve Baby Siegerin in 2011 and Reserve Junior Siegerin in 2012 being beaten by her litter sister both times at the Qld State Breed Evaluations and And I'm proud of her Puppy In Show win qualifying her for the prestigious event. We are a small and select kennel.

We believe that the most important aspect of the German Shepherd is temperament. We pride ourselves on not only owning but breeding dogs with excellent temperament that can be part of any family whether with young children or the elderly.

Our dogs are all brought up in an environment of being pets first and show dogs second, all our dogs interact well with other dogs, children and in different environments. They are extremely friendly, outgoing and have been easy to train whether obedience or show. Our kennel is slowly growing and we have recently acquired some excellent bloodlines that we did not previously have and now own several imported dogs and bitches.

We will continue to add new bloodlines to our kennel, whether through our breeding program or importing new animals, as our aim is to contribute to the betterment of the breed in Australia.

We comply with all the guidelines of the Australian National Kennel Council, the GSD Club of Queensland and the Canine Control Council (now Dogs Queensland) by having all our dogs x-rayed for both hips and elbows and breed surveyed.

We also ensure that we only use stud dogs of high caliber, good bloodlines and excellent temperament. Our results in the show ring are also starting to speak for themselves, even though we do not do a massive amount of showing.

Gewalt Kennels are based in the Adelaide Hills. We have a small number of top quality, select animals. Our dogs are a major part of our family, and interact daily with our children and each other. They have a couple of acres in which to run and play, and it's a race each morning for the dogs to get out of the house yard and into their 'play' areas.

All of our adult dogs (ie any of our dogs used in our breeding program) have passed any and all possible breed specific health and genetic testing available, be it compulsory or optional. We breed registered purebred dogs, each of whom has a pedigree that goes back many generations. Our puppies and dogs are family first, show and breeding dogs second. They DO NOT live in kennels, but in our home. As a registered ANKC breeder, we abide by a code of ethics and are answerable for our dogs' health and welfare.

We are a small breeder located just outside of Kilmore Victoria. I started VONROOK because I had the old style straight backed German Shepherds as a kid. My dogs were both loyal and protective and fit without fuss in our family environment. They were friendly to guests but fiercely protective of our home. These dogs were highly intelligent and calm. These are the characteristics we wish to continue and grow on as breeders of German Shepherd Dogs.

Our passion for breeding began with our beloved Tilly (Leppsdorf Tilly). She is our family pet and introduced us to the show and breeding world. With a lifetime of experience actively promoting the Shepherd in the community; Nimeria follows a strict breeding program under the ANKC and GSDCA schemes. We have a strong commitment in providing healthy, structurally sound, intelligent, family and working dogs.

Nimeria dogs will be by your side and ready to move with any adventure, relax when you need them too and be your loyal companion. Our dogs are utilised in community programs, dog behavioural management programs and as support and assistance dogs (Psychiatric and Autism).

We are actively involved in the following Dog Sports and Events: CaniCross, Bikjoring, Sled Dog, Obedience and Dog Shows. Our dogs are fit for purpose and love to be apart of life adventures.

Nimeria’s breeding program is about promoting, protecting and preserving the Shepherd for future generations to come. Our dogs have passed breed specific health and genetic testing.

Nimeria supports our community by regularly arranging social catch up days, training sessions and socialisation events.

Bred for Brains and Beauty Breeding quality animals of excellent type and temperament since 1986. Suitable for show , obedience but most importantly as a loyal companion.

We only breed occasionally and carefully select complementary bloodlines ensuring all stock are hip/elbow xrayed, breed surveyed and passed through GSDCA schemes. All our dogs are bought up in a family environment, well socialised and exposed at an early age to music, mowers and the general noise of civilized life!.

Shardon puppies have been wormed since 2 weeks of age, are vet checked at 6 weeks , registered, vaccinated, micro-chipped and come with a puppy info folder inclusive of photos and hip/elbow certificates of both sire and dam, certificate of Pedigree/registration, diet sheet and information to guide you in continuing to raise your puppy to a sound adult as well as ongoing support.

Over the years we have had many clients return to purchase another Shardon puppy, testimony to the quality of the animals we produce. We are selective with whom our babies go to and are only looking for loving forever homes.

We are very excited for our next litter for APRIL 2024 which will be from the daughter of Tranquility pictured above to a compatible sire.

UPDATE - Exciting news - Shardon Wish Come True has been confirmed in whelp to the beautiful Illiano Von Juvenisty . Puppies due 22nd April 2024 .
