Islamore is a small family-oriented breeder located in leafy Knox.
We strive to produce Golden Retrievers of excellent temperament and type.
Puppies are born in our home and are lovingly raised for 8 weeks using Puppy Culture protocols. We take pride in raising well-socialised pups and the partnerships formed with our puppy families ensure they continue to thrive in their forever homes.
Islamore Golden Retriever puppies are from excellent, well-researched bloodlines. Puppy parents are DNA, heart and eye tested, with excellent hip and elbow scores below the breed average.
On home-day, your ANKC-registered (limited) puppy will leave with a puppy pack, up-to-date vaccinations, worming and will be microchipped. Once you are home with your newest family member, we are only a phone call away.

Your enquiry must include detailed information on what your puppy’s life will look like, including:
Information about you and your family (children / ages), experience with dogs, yard size, work commitments, hours away from home, existing family pets (breeds / ages), your interests (hiking, camping, beach, parks), your intentions (dog training, showing) and absolutely anything else that you believe is relevant.

The decision to welcome a puppy into your life is a significant one. Please devote the time this application deserves.

Our beautiful two year old girl ‘Pudding’ is due to welcome her first litter of puppies on 1st September 2023. Puppies will therefore be ready for their forever homes around 27th October 2023.

The sire is three year old Meshkhent Jumpin Jack Flash. Jack was recently awarded Dog’s Victoria’s 2023 Obedience - Dog of Year (across all breeds in the Community Companion Dog Class).

Both dogs are sweet/gentle, loving, cheeky and smart. Both have been scored for hips and elbows, have been DNA tested and have clear eye and heart certificates.

The puppies will be raised around my two children (9 and 11 years old) and two other family dogs (in addition to mum). The puppies will be raised both inside and outside the house and will be well socialised. Their diet will comprise of fresh meat, veggies and rice and as they get a little older Royal Canin Golden Retriever Puppy kibble will be introduced.

Puppies will go to their forever homes up to date with their worming schedule, 6 week immunisations, microchipped and vet checked, blanket with mum’s scent, 6 weeks free pet insurance, Royal Canin Golden Retriever puppy kibble and Jane Hodges book “an Australian guide to Buying and Raising a Happy Healthy Golden Retriever Puppy”.

Goldengara Retreivers is a small family run kennels found in Teesdale, 30 mins from Geelong. We have been involved with Goldens for the past 15 years and treat them as one of the family.

Maggie Morgan is currently expecting a healthy litter of cuddly new pups, due in the first week of December 2023 and ready for their new homes by late January / early February 2024!

Both parents of this litter have very gentle, affectionate and obedient natures. We are located 4hours North West of Melbourne on the Murray River and have a beautiful dark golden named Pippa whom we are in the process of breeding.
Pippa has a full DNA profile to ensure good health and clear of Ichthyosis, has passed both eyes and heart checks and her hip score is a 6.
Pippa is an energetic adorable clever golden, she loves to greet you with a toy or two or sometimes three.

Our dogs are well loved members of our family, raised on acreage, socialised with people, farm animals & other dogs. They go almost everywhere with us, so there experiences are varied & many ie swimming, camping, social & more. They also love chilling at home & playing with each other.
The unconditional love & joy our Goldens have brought to our home is beyond words, thus careful placement of our pups to the best homes is priority.
We encourage at least one visit to interact with pups, “around 6 1/2 weeks”

We are a small kennel breeding quality golden retrievers for type and soundness. I have been the Assistant secretary to the Golden Retriever Club for the past 13 years...And involved within the breed for the past 16 years.... We show our goldens with great enjoyment and some success along with having a couple of Australian Champions under the Vospiel belt..... All our breeding dogs are screened for hereditary conditions. All stock hip/elbow/eye & heart tested along with DNA tests for Ichthyosis A, PRA1, PRA2, Degenerative Mylopathy and Skeletal Dysplasia.

Puppies sold on limited register only with breeders agreement:

*vaccinated
*vet checked twice- minimum
*microchipped
*raised on Royal Canin dry food and
*wormed every 2 weeks from birth
*treated with revolution at 6 weeks of age
*go home with a comprehensive puppy pack including 6 weeks free pet insurance and everything to get you started.
