Oseray Bernese are bred to be healthy family companions . Our dogs have successfully been shown, but are loved family members also . We are proud that all our dogs and puppies have fantastic personalities , which makes them suitable for the show ring and also well behaved family pets .
All breeding stock are tested for hips and elbows, all health testing and regularly vet checked.

My aim is to breed healthy, sound, correct and great family companions. All breeding stock is tested for Hip & Elbow Dysplasia, Von Willebrands Disease, Degenerative Myelopathy for both genes (SOD1A & SOD1B) and Histio Sarcoma Pre test.

Based in Brisbane, we have been involved with Bernese Mountain Dogs for many years. All our dogs are hip and elbow xrayed and scored, DM tested, vWD tested and DNA tested before being used for breeding.
We no longer keep a wait list for puppies, if we have pups available we will call for expressions of interest on our Karleken Facebook Page.

Having owned Bernese Mountain Dogs for the past 20 years, We are thrilled that we now have the opportunity to breed these stunning and ever so loving Gentle Giants.
Partnered with the support of Domestic and International Breeders, their proven blood lines in Temperament, Health, producing Champions in the Show Ring and most importantly Longevity we are truly grateful.
Based on the Gold Coast we are well known at our local dog parks, Rosser Park, Albert Park, The Spit and Palm Beach with our Berner bears. Even winning the Doggie face of Q Super Store for 2022.
Our Dogs are DNA and Hip/Elbow tested. Each breeding can take months of careful planning, we don't repeat breeding's or mass produce puppies and always looking to improve the breed.
Each litter receives total attention and interaction from us within our home. Our Mother dogs are with her puppies 24/7, loving, caring and teaching her pups.
All our dogs are Family and live indoors with us. We are out every day with our bears making the most of this amazing paradise we live in.

Our aim at Darkcrush is to produce sound, typical Bernese who can perform in the show & obedience rings, yet ultimately be faithful family companions for both ourselves & our puppy buyers.
We screen our breeding stock for Hip & Elbow Displaysia (AVA xray scoring after 12mths of age), Von Willebrands Disease (VwD), & Degenerative Myelopathy (DM) for both genes (SOD1A & SOD1B). We can talk you through the pedigrees of our dogs incl. lifespans & any known health issues.
Bernese world-wide have a lifespan of just shy of 8 yrs, so please do your research into the breed before purchasing as they will not suit everyone. Please beware of scammers & non-reputable breeders!! Facebook posts saying "available now" are not legit!
I am an ANKC breeder registered with DOGS Victoria and sell all pups on Limited papers between 8-12 weeks of age. As a small breeder wait times for puppies may vary (I do not keep a wait list). I ask that you please only call me on Saturdays, or between 4pm-7pm weekdays. If I do not answer, PLEASE leave a voicemail.
