I am a small kennel located in Emerald, Victoria. I breed for temperament, soundness and type with the intention of keeping something from each litter to exhibit. GUNNERSON

OLDER PUPPIES:
Often older puppies are better to adopt than baby 8 week puppies, especially if you are a first time dog owner or are worried about bringing a baby puppy into your home.
Recently two of my older pups have gone to homes where the owners have previously had puppies of mine.
Feedback is such that they are easier to toilet train, good on a lead (for a puppy) and settled more easily.

LASKELSA

We are a small kennel consisting of 8 dogs at the moment. We only breed when we need a new pup to show which is about every 3 years.
We have had 4 Grand Champions including three generations of bitches. Our breeding is based on the Driftway lines as well as using one of the top stud dogs in the USA. Our two new editions are Ch Laskelsa Wild Destiny (Jai) and Ch Laskelsa Littl Diva (Georgia).
Georgia was Best of Breed at the Royal Melbourne Show, following in her mothers footsteps who won the same award 4 years earlier.

We've been showing Labradors for 22 years. Among our 10 champion dogs, we bred top winning Grand Champion Kasterlyn Dark Solitare. Who has sired many puppies, including 3 champions. One of which is, CH Kasterlyn Topaz Moon, who won Challenge Bitch at the Royal Melbourne Show 2003.

KELINDEBAR

As we are proud of the Labrador Retrievers we produce we love showing them to the world and compete with high success most weekends at conformation shows.

All litters are carefully planned to produce the best puppies we possibly can.
Every aspect is considered with regard to health, temperament and sound conformation when planning a litter. All relevant health testing of parents is undertaken. We usually breed so that we can keep a puppy for ourselves as a future show prospect and it is important to us that the other puppies are placed in loving homes.

I am licensed to judge Labrador Retrievers at Championship level as well as many other breeds and have judged throughout Australia and New Zealand.

SYBECK

We are a small kennel situated in Hamilton, VIC (South West area of Victoria). We breed quality Labradors for the show ring and as well as the perfect family pet. Soundness, type and temperament is our aim. Our Labradors are apart of our family as the 4 legged type, along with our 2 legged children Riley and Jake!

Our main hobby is showing our labradors around Victoria and interstate to compare type and try to improve our own breeding lines by doing so.

Our dogs are first & foremost our treasured family pets. They are our family dogs, & they, along with their puppies, are socialised & grow up on our 4 acres with our children aged 10, 8, & 6 years old.
Our children adore them as much as we do.

REVEIRTER

We are a small kennel breeding for temperament and working ability.

Both Kate and I are actively involved in the dog world as retrieving trial competitors and judges of retrieving trials to Championship level and retrieving ability tests.

We have been actively breeding Labrador Retrievers for over 20 years. Many of our dogs and bitches have fifteen or more generations of selection for game drive, prey drive and biddability.

Our dogs and bitches are used widely in retrieving, obedience and tracking trials. We are also working with an organisation in breeding and training dogs for service and therapy for people with a wide range of disabilities. These dogs are trained for autism therapy, epilepsy alert, aspergers syndrome therapy, post traumatic stress disorder therapy, age home service, legal court service, alziemers disease service and diabetes alert dogs..

All of our breeding dogs and bitches are tested for hip dysplasia and OCD and we aim to breed pups with hip and elbow scores better than the breed average. All of our breeding dogs and bitches are genetically profiled for the full range of diseases and traits for which genetic markers are available for the Labrador Retriever breed.

HIGHVIEW

Here at Highview Labradors, breeding is our passion and has been for 14 years. We absolutely love what we do and we love meeting new families interested in our puppies.

Our dogs come from sound blood lines and can be traced back 5 generations, they are beautiful/handsome Labradors with great temperaments, healthy bodies and very loving.

Our current family pet Chocolicious, is just one example, she is our gorgeous Coco's (Bradshell Rosaleigh) great, great grand- daughter. This mischievous 4 year old girl has become part of our breeding program, she has been a great mummy too.

All our dogs have passed their health tests ie hip and elbow scores, DNA profile. Chocolicious especially loves cuddles, playing fetch and return, can sit, stay, wait, drop, shake hands, retrieve our home delivered newspaper from the driveway and hi five! And that's just the beginning.

When we have a litter of puppies, they are raised in a family environment and leave us for their forever homes to approved families when they reach 8 weeks old. Pups are wormed, immunised and registered on the VCA register as well as micro-chipped. Pups leave with copies of parents health test results and a puppy pack of information.

Our aim is to breed the best possible working labrador retrievers in Australia. Our breeding program is focused on working ability and traits.

We have travelled to New Zealand, UK and USA observing field/working bred labradors. We continue to visit America sourcing working field line genetics.

Health is also highly valued. For example, we were the first Australian labrador breeder to test for exercise induced collapse and centronuclear myopathy. Additionally retinal dysplasia/osd. We are involved in DNA research.
