We are financial members of DogsNSW, our member number is 2100020428 and we welcome any questions you may have about Maremma Sheepdogs in general or our dogs in particular. We have had Maremma’s since 1999 and have spent much of that time learning all I can about the breed.
The dogs of Casa Di Cani have sheep and horses to look after as well as the humans and I strive towards well mannered and well bred working dogs who are sound in mind and body. To this end my dogs attend shows and community events as well as the odd bit of modeling for some local photographas. The latest event they attended was the Italian Festival at Ettalong Beach Resort.
I as yet have only bred 7 litters. My breeding dogs have or will have hips and elbows scored, eye tests and Thyriod normal. I am committed to only breeding the healthiest dogs possible so no matter where you look for a puppy always ask to see the Hip/Elbow score sheet and be aware that ALL the numbers should be as close to 0 as possible. I am always happy to chat about my dogs or your dog.
Visitors are always welcome to meet the dogs.

DellBianco, registered breeders of the Cane Da Pastore Maremmano Abruzzese - Maremma Sheepdog.
We are a small husband & wife team that strive to breed quality over quantity of these majestic Livestock Guardian Dogs. Breed standard, soundness, temperament, movement & "true to type" is the main objective of our breeding program.
*Our pups are exposed to livestock (kids & lambs) from an early age.
*Our dogs are campaigned & promoted in the show ring from 12 weeks of age with wonderful results.
*All dogs are from proven working both Australian & Italian bloodlines.
*Hip & Elbow scores along with ACES eye certification are performed on all our dogs before breeding is considered.
*We also have fully accredited Maremma Therapy dogs servicing Aged Care & Disability Facilities in the Blue Mountains, Central West regions & now New Zealand.
All of our dogs are a part of the family we get asked "do your dogs live in the house" the answer to that is NO we encourage our dogs to live as natural life as the breed was intended to do. Goats & kids, sheep & lambs wonder around both working & show dogs every day.

We are a pedigree breeder of Maremma Sheepdogs on a farm (Jumble Farm), near Canberra/Cooma. We strive to produce healthy, friendly, well socialised and genetically sound companion/guardian dogs. Our farm runs a variety of livestock (pigs, cattle, sheep and goats) and poultry (chickens, ducks, guinea fowl, turkeys and peacocks). We have experience with livestock guarding dogs (LGDs), companion dogs and rescue dogs. Our dogs have great pedigrees with International lineage, they are beautiful to look at, great livestock guardians, loyal companions, and have friendly temperaments.

ABOUT THE BREED: Looks can be deceiving! Maremma Sheepdogs are so much more than their regal stance, fluffy white fur and good looks! They are smart and independent thinkers, who naturally protect those they are bonded too (livestock, poultry and people). They will defend and protect whom they are bonded with. They make their presence known to any potential threat by targeted barking (they have a loud deep bark). They will defend if necessary. They don’t demand a lot of attention, but do enjoy affection when it suits them!

You'll fall in love and stay in love with this independent majestic breed. We don't breed dogs, we breed Maremma's!

* Please refer to our web page to learn more about our unique training and early socialisation programs (now incorporating the principles of 'Puppy Culture' - a structured program from birth, that sets up pups/dogs behaviorally and neurologically for life) *
