He loves meeting anyone and everyone and is solid in demanding environments. This has allowed him to perform in multiple commercials with new people in strange environments. Spyro's gentle, loving and engaging nature shines in his volunteer therapy dog role, where he was selected to attend the high care dementia residences at our local nursing home. His gentle eye contact and nearness to those he visits can bring out a smile in even the most closed off of residents. He is a wonderful sports dog, keen to take on any challenge you ask of him. He will happily focus on his heeling, zoom down the flyball lanes, or put on a show for dancing. He has an excellent off-switch, sleeping the day away at home if nothing is asked of him, but the second his attention is required he is all in. He is a powerful dog, lean and muscular, with great tug drive and desire to please.
