Chato went over to NZ for 16 months and is now back home. While he was there achieved the GOLD medal at their Championship Show in November 2002.
STOP PRESS Chato received challenge dog and Runner Up Best in Show at GSDCQ champ show 13th July 2003 under Mr Hakan Karlsson (Sweden) and went on to receive Excellent Select 7 at the 2003 Australian Main Breed Evaluation (Judge Vince Tantaro) Mr. Tantaro's comment when awarding Chato Excellent Select was "the elevation of this dog to the excellent select group is based on a belief that this dog has attributes that are desired at this moment in our breed".
Chato is at stud to approved bitches and is standing at stud in Queensland and can be viewed at www.laguardia-gsd.info
