Shaun is blessed with exceptional herding instinct. He gained his Pre-Trial title on ducks before he turned 7 months, moving up from passing his Instinct Test on the same day. He gained his HSAs & HSAd at nine months, his HSBd at ten months and HSBs at thirteen months of age. His inherent lateral movement & stock sense is extraordinary in one so young. Shaun is a really obliging dog who is a pleasure to own. After a break from serious herding to try his paw at Flyball he gained his FDX at his first Flyball competition and the following week-end attained his Herding Championship on A Course Ducks. He is a handy dog in yards and lambing. He has achieved Herding Championships on sheep and cattle as well as ducks and A and B courses. An adaptable dog, Shaun is a bit of a social butterfly relaxing while waiting his turn for competitions with his wide circle of friends however he switches on to each discipline with commitment when required.
