Jorja's critique by - Mr CHRIS WOODROW (QLD) - "Critique for my Reserve in Group Blue Merle Smooth Collie.
This bitch instantly appeared with gifted intelligence, alertness and activity. She appeared smooth and graceful and has the ability of working. Her construction gives the ability for sheepdog work with reach and drive, correct for the distinct characteristic of the breed, with the required level back and slight muscular rise over the loin.
The head properties were correct for a bitch with parallel plains and a slight but perceptible stop. The head also had the well-blunted, clean wedge, smooth outline with a pleasing well developed underjaw. Lacking in too many Collie at present.
Overall a very true type of Collie that well deserved the award. It was also a pleasure to see the smooth collie temperament shine through, being very gay and friendly, with no sign of nervousness."

Jorja's show career started out with a BANG! Right from the start, in Baby Class - Winning multi "Best Baby in Group's". Plus in the one weekend she won ~*~ TWO x "BEST BABY PUPPY IN SHOW"(All Breeds)~*~judged under Mr R Bridgeford(Vic) & Mrs S Taylor(Tas).

Mrs Taylor commented to Jorja after awarding her BBIS...."Your mummy hasn't yet realized how good you really are??" I think I have now!

To date Jorja continues to be a consistant All Breeds & Specialty multi "CLASS IN SHOW" & multi "CLASS IN GROUP" winner, plus a Perth Royal Show - "BEST OF BREED" & "R/Up BEST of BREED" winner.

I would like to thank the local, interstate & International judges for awarding Jorja, and most importantly for appreciating the virtues in the Collie(Smooth) breed. When deciding to award Jorja her class in show & class in group!
