Curly Coated Retriever Puppies for Sale, ACT

We are a small kennel in the Esk area in Queensland. Our dogs are hip scored and DNA tested for PRA and EIC prior to breeding. We live on a rural property with horses, our dogs are very good with other animals.

Previously Teandjah Kennels. We have recently started breeding and showing Curly Coated Retrievers again. We have been involved with the breed for over 20 years both in the show ring and obedience. Even during our 10 year break we have always had Curly Coated Retrievers as part of our family. All of our curlies have wonderful temperaments and are very happy to be around people and will make great family pets. We believe that our curlies should be sound and of good substance and suitable for all types of homes. They should also have a suitable coat that belies their name. Our dogs have good hip scores and are DNA tested for genetic diseases like PRA & EIC. We are situated approx. 1 hour north east of Adelaide. Our dogs are well socialised and interact well with people and other dogs.

Dizzyki Kennels have been involved with gundogs since 1984 in Showing, Retrieving and Obedience. Our Curlies have proved themselves in the showring, as working retrievers, trainable in obedience and as wonderful family companions and watchdogs. We continue to strive to maintain this standard for the truly versatile Curly Coated Retriever. We breed only from our best dogs..our only aim is to improve the breed, for show, companion and working dogs..and we achieve that every litter.

Since our introduction to the breed in 1992, Curlies have become a big part of our family. We aim to maintain the multi purpose abilities of the breed with our dogs having roles as working gundogs,conformation show dogs, obedience/agility competitors, therapy dogs and loyal family pets. Our puppies are raised in a home environment on a rural property on the Kapiti coast. We only breed very selectively and for ourselves so puppies may occasionally be available to the right homes. Our dogs spend their days lounging on the balcony or swimming in the dam. They are always happy to play games or just relax in front of the TV... whatever their owners feel like doing at the time.
